I originally felt philly would have a better chance against Detroit, but after seeing the game last night vs. Miami this makes me think twice about my original thoughts. Keep in mind it was Shaqs first game back and he was out of sync so i'll give the shaq daddy the benefit of the doubt. Since the 76ers chances of winning the Atlantic are slim, lets concentrate on who we're MOST LIKELY playing in the 1st round.. So who do you guys think would be a bigger problem for us? Detroit or Miami?

You would struggle equally with both in a best of 7 series I would imagine. Both will provide problems for you inside and both teams can hurt you with their guards. Either would likely beat Philly in 5.

I'd rather see Miami playing us cause we just have to shut down Wade or let him shoot like we did last game.
If we try to keep Wade in check Shaq will play his game (Last year Detroit did the same thing to LA,we aren't as good as Pistons D but Iggy and McKie could do something)
If we let Wade shoot Shaq won't get so many shots and we could actually win the series counting on others bad games
Detroit is a hard one but we could beat them if we keep Rip in check (You all saw what happend when he didn't play)

If I was philly I would rather see Miami in the first round. Not to take anything away from Miami they are a very good team, but Detriot has more experience in play-off situations, and they have a bunch of clutch players.

I would rather see Miami because the Sixers seem to give Miami fits...aside from Shaq, they match up with the Heat very well...they even have better depth than the Heat and I think AI loves seeing the Heat...

I do agree Miami would probably be a better matchup, seeing how Detriot has a bit more playoff experience and has a lot of clutch players. But not to take away anything away from the Sixers-Great job for winning in overtime against Miami, but do not forget... Not only was it a home game for them, but any team can win on any given night. And philly playing a seven game series most of which Miami would host, it will be tough to move onto the next round.

Both teams would be very hard to beat, but I would want to face Miami. The Heat may have that great 1-2 punch of Wade-Shaq, and some other great players, but the Pistons IMO have it all. Offense, defense, depth, and just great dominace.

The 76ers have the power to shut down Wade and to at least...stop...Shaq. We all saw that little preview the other night against Miami and it showed we`re capable of doing many things against the Heat.

Definitely Miami. Detroit has so much more options than Miami in Prince, Hamilton, Billups, and the Wallaces. If we face Miami, the key would be to shut down all the role players such as the Jones and not leave any shot uncontested for Shaq and Wade. Just follow the Detroit blueprint from last year. Sure, we might not have as much defenders, but our guys I think can still get the job done. Plus, we've got the offensive options needed, such as Iverson, Korver, Webber, Dalembert, and Jackson. Our bench can contend with theirs and might even be stronger.

Miami of course, AznxBaller basically summed it all up, just shut them down defensively.

too bad they couldn't play any better down the stretch otherwise we wouldn't have to play either one (easily the 2 best teams in the east). but i guess if i had to choose one, it would be detroit b/c i can't see shaq going out so early. either way let's face it, we don't have much of a chance (and this is coming from a sixers fan).
