Camby is sitting this one out. Rockets got off to a slow start trailing 34-24 in the first qtr but the bench has cut the lead to 5 in the 2nd qtr led by a great rebounding effort by mutombo.

We've really clawed ourselfs back into this one, T-Mac hadn't shot too well but just as I am writing this he made two three pointes and Mike James really gave an offensive boost off the bench, and Deke..what can I say about him, he is 1 point off a double double and he's been playing for 14 minutes..incredible

Halftime score: 56-49 Our lead [IMG]

This ought to be a huge confidence booster. Beating a Nuggets team, even without Camby, that has won 10 straight games and look unbeatable for the rest of the regular season. Not just a win too, it's a blowout. McGrady looks really passionate about getting out of the first round. We've done a favor for Seattle too, allowing them to clinch the Northwest divison and they don't even have to win a game for the rest of the regular season. We've now got an edge over Denver and if the Kings just stay in fifth, we'll be in a dream playoff matchup with Seattle.

Wow what a game we had against denver, we were down by 12 in the first half and 10 at the end of it, T-Mac was shooting like crap then he began to shoot the lights out, Mike James has been extrodinary Deke played like great! T-Mac finished with 32 and 8 assists, both Yao and Deke had double doubles, Wesley is out of his shooting slump! Mike James scored 23 from 9/12 shooting! Torraye Braggs got 2 rebounds and 2 points! and we won 115-87! thats a 28 point win!!!

What a shocker. Denver FINALLY loses. I didn't think it would be by 31 points though. Congrats, Rocket fans. [IMG]

32 assists, 11 blocks, 13 steals. It's these stats that are real impressive to me. The assist number shows how well our offense was flowing, the blocks show how good our help defense was. Yao with 5 blocks and Deke and Tracy with 3 apiece. The steals show how well we played the passing lanes, and the fast break points show that we took advantage of the steals. If we can hustle like this in the playoffs, we'll go far.

Great win by the rockets. Camby was out but he wouldnt have saved the nuggets anyway cause the arc was what killed them. 62.5 percent. That is amazing.
Mike James had a big night, havent seen him play like that since the first games after the trade.
This pretty much leaves the rockets with either the fifth or sixth seed. We want the sixth, but we have a tiebreaker vs sacremento. We have to purposely loose games. Sacremento looks like they lost to the suns and then they play them again. Rockets play the clippers and sonics.

Actually they'd gotten it earlier yesterday in a win vs. the Hornets. Congrats the Rockets on winning this one, if we had to lose, it'd better to y all than to the hated Suns (next).

Man, that was awesome game for Houston. Everything was flowing and everyone were hustling. I mean, everyone were getting into the passing lanes, converting to fastbreaks, and also grabbing a lot of offensive rebounds. Some guys that stood out to me were Mutumbo, McGrady, James, Barry, and Padgett. We had a lot of offense and defense going on which won the game for us. The guys were hot and Houston was knocking down threes like crazy. Hopefully, this gives us some confidence in the last two games of the season. However, right now I'm concerned about the playoff position. Sacramento is facing Utah and Phoenix while we've got Clippers and Seattle. If we win both and they lose once, we're tied meaning we've got the fifth seed since we've got the tiebreaker. And I seriously do not want to be facing the Mavericks in the first round. Any comments?

actually right now we are already tied with sacramento, so we actually need to lose both games, coz i think sacramento can't handle phoenix in the last game.. But if we purposely lose these tow games, denver will have a chance to overtake us. it is indeed a very difficult situation. But i still rather face the mavs rather than the spurs though..

If only sacramento can win both of their last two games and we lost to seattle in our final game, then we can still hold on to the 6th spot

You said it whatever. There's no concrete way to hold on to the sixth spot, as we'd also have to count on Denver and Sacramento to help us bail it out. I'd just say play our best ball and not bother about the standings; build up the confidence to beat anyone in our way.

Yeah, its true. A lot of their points come from fast breaks and putbacks. Take a look at Martin, Camby, and Nene who all get scrap points, putbacks, and alley oops. Meanwhile, their guards Miller and Boykins just put up shots, I don't really think they have any setup offense.
