I didn't get a chance to do a preview on the game, so discuss it here. So far it looks like Shaq' has gotten back into rhythm, Damon Jones has been shooting well. he has 7 points. Haslem has been hitting the boards so far. He has 5 rebounds. Jermaine O'Neal has been activated for the Pacers, although he didn't start. Miller has 4 points and 1 assist. The Heat lead 26 to 15 at with 11 min left in the second quarter.
Heat finally beat Pacers 84-80 Heat finally beat Pacers 84-80. It wasn't pretty, but a Win is a Win. D-Wade had a poor game with 13 points on 4-15 FG's and 7 Turnovers. He seemed to settle for jumpshots, even when he had guys like Anthony Johnson covering him!!! He got his knee banged up a bit, so I'm not sure if that's to blame. 7 Turnovers by Wade is a sure loss in the playoffs. Alonzo Mourning's presence was really what got us the win. His defense and rebounding were great. Simply put, we don't win this game without Zo. The Joneses played good today contributing to the inconsistent offense. SHAQ suffered a bruised right quadriceps late in the second quarter and did not return. He scored 11 points. Hopefully it's nothing serious. The Heat need to get their act together NOW before the playoffs begin. They don't look like the same team that put on those great winning streaks. The Offense is not flowing well and they need to start moving the ball better. The Heat are not playing well enough right now to beat anyone in the playoffs. Stan Van Gundy needs to get the troops rallied because it's almost Playoff Time.
I don't think Wade's game is perfect yet. He has a lot of work to do in the off-season and I hope he works on his shooting range and solution to turnover problems. I'm a lil concerned about playoff as well since we have been slumping last 2 weeks or so. Man i bought a plasma TV for this playoff and they better do good!!!!!!!
