the voting has begun and i want all the TO fans to support our man chris. The fan votes count for 25 % of the overall votes so it is very big. http://www.nba.com/features/awards2005_improved.html and here is the link For all the other voting http://www.nba.com/features/fanvote_2005.html Come On guys! we gotta show our love for CB4! we all know here in canada, that he deserved MVP at the rook vs soph game. so let him have this one guys and gals.
Chris Bosh isn't going to get it because it's most likely going to be given to someone who played more than 2 seasons unlike Bosh and someone who isn't a star/great player like Bosh. Bobby Simmons isn't a star/great player, so it's going to go to him.
They don't even have Lebron in MIP, a little surprised there. Also I laughed when I saw Kobe in the DPOY one, what were they smoking? I guess when they don't watch a guy much in the year, and with this year not having clear cut candidates, they just went on reputation. Since Kobe was a good defender in previous years, he'd have to be good now too right? I mean his SPG only went down significantly and all, and his team is one of the worst defensive teams.
Are you sure these votes count because I've never heard of any fan voting counting towards any of the awards before. It says on the site: "Note: Your vote does not count toward determining the actual award winner".
A second year player, taken #4 overall, who averaged around 11 and 7 last season, and is under 20/10 this season - yet he's in line for MIP? Very strange.
