I though to say who deserves it more, both players played very hard, and both contributed to thier team's wins. Sure Carter may have scored more, but Kidd played more defense and kept a proper tempo going. The rebounding probably gave more wieght to Kidd's candidacy.

Other nominees for Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Boston?s Paul Pierce, Denver?s Andre Miller, Detroit?s Ben Wallace, Miami?s Dwyane Wade, Philadelphia?s Allen Iverson, Phoenix?s Joe Johnson and Amare Stoudemire and Washington?s Antawn Jamison. ^ No VC. These people are on some strong stuff...
