Well if the Raps were going to lose, especially the last game of the season, they should at least play a good game. No team should throw away a game just to be the spoiler. I hope the Raps win that game anyway so that the Nets do go in the playoffs without worrying about the Cavs. Go Raps, Go Nets!
The Raps can't just give up the game.... I don't like Carter either but losing to the Cavs on purpose is stupid.
It doesn't matter anyway. The raptors will lose to Lebron and company regardless, the Cavs have something to play as opposed to the Raptors.
If anything, we should be losing to get a better draft pick, not to get some stupid sort of revenge on Carter.

It was a pretty stupid idea though, especially the way he wrote it. I would rephrase it like this 1. I don't want Nets to make playoffs, because Carter tanked our season and was rewarded. 2. I want Raptors to have a good draft pick. Therefore I want us to lose against Cleveland, but there is no need for a grand scheme!

Billy Knight as a gm helped build those pacer dynasties in the mid to late ninties. And getting rid of over paid vets like Jalen rose where he was was traded for Brad Miller and Ron Artest. who won that trade? The best asset the Hawks have is cap space to. The raptors future looks like this: Chris Bosh. After That? Rose will still make 19 mil for the next 2 years. Niether Alston or Mo pete could be considered young. Hoffa who is a 24 year old rookie who appears to need quite a bit more development. 2 first round picks this year and next year. Who knows we might bring in some rookies but babcock early track record of drafting isn't to pretty. Im cool with Pape Sow though. Also our cap space is hurting. That being said i still love the raptors. Im just being realistic thats all.

The Raps get good support from the public, though not when compared with hockey, and most importantly the raps have some decent corporate sponsers..something the Grizz did not. Also, i wouldnt mind loosing the game, if only to get a better pick. Doesnt matter though, i suspect we will, we should loose to a better, and hungry Cavs team.

i would have to say it is a good scheme but a dumb one. it'd be disrepectful. as for movinbg the raptors, shut up. the raptors are owned for MLSE and they have a lot of money so it doesnt matter if they are losing a little. there's no reason to move CANADA's Team...
Wow. There are a lot of very bitter Vince fans. Deep inside of you you're still wishing that he's taking his 30+ scoring average on some weeks to your team. He didn't act professionally during his last season with the team, so he moved. Exit Carter, Enter Bosh right? So move on already.
