    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kobe 8 Ball:</div><div class="quote_post">Exactly what Shape said.

Kobe and LeBron could both exist, easily. They are both two of the hardest working players in the league. They both have an enormous amount of respect for each other's games, and I think would both be willing to push aside ego's to win championships, in essence, that is what they both want...to win championships.

Will it happen? If it does, mark me for President of the United States of America, we don't have anything to offer...</div>

Give the Cavs Odom, Butler, Grant and our First Round picks. LOL. Man, if only.... LOL Shoot, Kobe and LB both on the same team at their ages. ITS OVER!!!!

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting yanix:</div><div class="quote_post">if LBJ went to the Lakers then i would die a very happy man

but i doubt thats gonna happen. the Organization cannot afford to keep these two guys on the same team. The ego would also be a problem if ever they were in the same team. but hey who knows? stranger things have happened</div>

Exactly, I don't think it would happen... too much control clashing between the 2 is what makes me think this would never work.

LBJ would go to the Bulls or Kicks first. Lebron can easily get as much as kobe recieved from LA from pretty much any team he chooses in a year or two. It would be a feather in the cap for LA if by some Karl n Gary miracle we landed Lebron, could you imagine how much @$$ kissing would go down from LBJ fans? "Oh i always liked Kobe" ...or it could be the other way around.

Anyways, i wouldnt bet any sort of money on this ever happening....then again, beginning of the finals last year noone thought detoilet would destroy LA.

Well also if he was living in LA or New York, housing would cost a lot more, it would take him longer to go to and from the Arenas and workout facilities, and generally he would be spending more money living in those cities than he would in Cleveland, but he's rich.

Anyways, neither team has much to offer Cleveland, and they do have his bird rights, so why would they in their right minds let him go?

I can't find the link but it was reported Lebron's deal would go up in the 110 million dollar range. Why sign for the MLE for an extra 20 million then just get the max? He's going to want to go where he can win a ring and gets paid top $$$.

The Cavs have bird rights to Lebron, it's not like he can go anyways, if they want to keep him, he will stay...

The Larry Bird rights state that a team can sign one of their own players for however much they want, without worrying about the salary cap.

Yup, when he's coming off his contract, he's a Restricted FA, and Cleveland can match any offer given to him, so he really doesn't have a choice on whether he wants to go or not.
