It shows he realizes there is a strong chance LeBron could leave Cleveland and he's going to work on doing everything he can to keep him in a Cavs uniform. He's not taking LeBron's situation for granted.
Hes not gunna leave. Every team struggles and its just rumors. Theres no way they'll trade him unless he demands it.

Yeah, this crap is getting pretty old. But these New Yorkers just don't want to let it go, and what the heck do they have that we would want for the best player in the league?

I think the "worry" he is referring to is the long term future, like after his rookie contract ends, etc. He's also worried about building a team around him to show that they're going to be a good fit, like how the Timberwolves were worried about Garnett, but showed that they could spend money and make some moves to get into a position to win (even if it eventually failed this year). All owners "worry" in that sense, about winning and losing. It's nothing new, although it's good to know that Gilbert is mindful of it as a "rookie" owner.

Maybe he is worried that LeBron won't resign after his contract is up? That's right, he could *gasp* actually play out his contract! I imagine Pat Rielly is worried about re-signing Dwayne Wade as well.
Cleveland can thank Gilbert for ruining their future...Silas was a great coach, and Gilbert has provided distractions for this playoff run; a run they didnt even need about five weeks ago...
