<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Jazz had just finished their final Delta Center game of the 2004-05 NBA season, Monday night's win over Sacramento, and Larry H. Miller seemed to be much more encouraged than he has in quite some time. He forgot, for a moment, Utah's 26-55 record ? bound to be its worst since going 25-57 in 1981-82. With just one game remaining ? tonight's visit to Golden State ? the Jazz owner seemed buoyed by looking forward rather than dragged down by looking back. He spoke with gusto about coach Jerry Sloan returning for another season. He discussed who offered the most consistency in a mostly inconsistent season. He even addressed Carlos Boozer in an upbeat vein, unlike his controversial remarks made in February. Sure, there was a blip or two of reality-based negativity.</div> <div align="center">Link</div> Larry H. Miller talks about Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur, the rookies, Point Guard, Jerry Sloan and the team in this article.
Good article, it's always interesting to read between the lines when owners speak. First he praises Okur for being their most consistent player, then when they ask him about the Point, he says..."We've got to have a 5 (center), and we've got to have a 1 (point guard)," he said. So the door is open for the Jazz to draft a big man with their lottery pick. After talking down Bogut's game, I wonder what the Jazz would do if they had a shot at taking him?
I hope that we don't draft a big man though, I have confidence in Boozer, Okur, Humphries, and Handgloten to improve and get the job down. We're really in need of a point guard, Stockton please come back... We have a pretty high draft pick this year, maybe Chris Paul or Deron Williams. Still, I think Larry MIller talks just a little bit too much, hey I live in Utah and hear about him all the time. Maybe cuz he's the only millionair here..

Nobody wins when dirty laundry gets aired. And to turn it loose to the Media, only invites and fosters embelishment. When the Media gets hold of, even a grain of dirt, after wringing it out like a wet pair of socks, it'll be hyperbolized to the max. And generaly people's lives are affected. Usually in a negative way! Miller oughta button his lip about things that are inappropriate for public consumption. Tank
