New Jersey @ Boston - If the Nets win they clinch the 8th seed in the East and make the playoffs. If the Nets lose, they could be on the outside looking in with a Cavs win. Cleveland @ Toronto - If the Cavs win and the Nets lose they take the 8th seed in the East. If the Cavs lose they are eliminated. Atlanta @ Philadelphia - If the 76ers lose and the Nets win, the 76ers will end up being the 8th seed in the playoffs. If the 76ers win they will will lock down the 7th seed. Utah @ Golden State - If the Warriors win they will get the 8th pick in the lottery. If the Warriors lose, and the Knicks win, the Warriors will get the 7th pick in the lottery. If Utah wins they will end up with the 5th pick in the lottery, but if they lose they could end up with the 4th pick instead. Washington @ New York - If the Knicks lose they will have the 7th seed in the lottery. If the Knicks win, and Warriors lose, they will end up with the 8th pick. Detroit @ Charlotte - If the Bobcats win and the Hornets lose, the Bobcats will get the #3 pick in the lottery. If the Bobcats lose, they will end up with the #2 pick in the lottery. LA Clippers @ New Orleans - If the Clippers lose, and the Magic win, the Clippers will get the 11th pick in the lottery. If the Clippers win, and the Magic lose, then the Clippers will end up with the 12th pick in the lottery. If both teams win, the Clippers will end up with the 11th pick in the lottery. If the Hornets win they will end up with the #3 pick in the lottery. If the Hornets lose, and the Bobcats win, they will end up with the #2 pick in the lottery. Miami @ Orlando - If the Magic win they will get the 12th pick in the lottery. If they lose they could end up with the 11th pick instead. LA Lakers @ Portland - If the Blazers lose they will end up with the 4th pick in the lottery. If the Blazers win, and the Jazz lose they will end up with the 5th pick in the lottery. If both the Blazers and Jazz win or both lose the Blazers will get the 4th pick and the Jazz will get the 5th pick.
No better way to end the season than have a bunch of games with a heavy impact on the playoffs. I'm loving this and hopefully the games will be exciting to watch too.
Yeah it is very exciting, and much better than watching the team scrubs play against each other in a meaningless game.
LOL it's funny how Vince's playoff dreams always coincide with his former team. First the game on April 15th. I don't even think they'd be in that 8th spot right now if they'd lost that game. Then today's game. If we lose against the Cavs and if the Nets lose, the Nets are out of the playoff race. It's fate!
