<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Brandon Rush has not declared for the upcoming NBA draft ? at least not yet.

The move has been widely speculated for some time, and at least one Web site quoted Rush, the former Kansas City standout, as saying he will put his name in and at least check the interest of pro teams. But Rush, speaking through his prep school coach, refuted the report.

?He told me there's no truth to that,? said Antonio Fozard, head coach at Durham (N.C.) Mount Zion Academy. ?He said if something like that happens, if that is the case, you will only hear it through his school, through his athletic director or coach. Not on some report.?</div>

If he doesn't make the jump, what college will he go to? He'll probaly go to Mizzou but just wandering if you know.

[IMG] from what i hear, he was thinking about mizzou but has had some indecision lately after watching illinois' run in the tourney. and with deron williams to the NBA, and mizzou with all kinds of young wings in his way, it would make sense for him to go to illinois. if he's indeed on the fast track to the NBA, it'd make sense for him to get immediate P.T and show off for the scouts at Illinois. couldn't hurt to be playing the wing next to dee brown. that dude reminds me so much of A.I-so quick, such a great shooter/playmaker.

I'm split on whether or not I think this kid should go to college. On one hand, it's probably in his own best interests to go to college, as he likely won't be drafted above a mid-second round draft choice this year. On the other hand, if he goes to college he'll likely be 1-and-done (or 2-and-done if the age limit comes to be), and that's something that has really been hurting a lot of these college teams. I can also see academic problems in his future. Isn't he a fifth year senior who people have been saying can not get into college academically?

Good deal. I think the college game is where he needs to be because of all the talent that is in the draft this year and I'm not exactly sure if he'd be a first round pick. And I think if he wants to win, then Illinois is the place for him, but I really like what Missouri is doing.

Yeah he went to prep school for a year so he's really 19. I think he should bolt now. despite being a 2nd round pick, he's the type of player who could do more damage a year in college. Not only is he having academic trouble, but college is not a cake walk, and he is subject to not only exposing more flaws in school if he doesnt dominate, but with his track record, could just end up a mid season non qualifier and hurt himself further. He has the size and a lot of things he does well, translate to the pro game. He is one of the few kids I would ever tell to jump now despite no 1st round guarantee.
