<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Michael Jordan has kept a rather low-key profile during the Bulls' dramatic turnaround this season, but there figure to be more Jordan sightings during the team's playoff run.

Coach Scott Skiles was asked Tuesday if he would be in favor of Jordan addressing the team before its first-round series with the Washington Wizards begins Sunday.

''I suppose that's a good question,'' Skiles said. ''I don't know. Would there be a conflict of interest there because he was in Washington? I really haven't given that a whole lot of thought.''

Upon further reflection, Skiles didn't seem to have a problem with Jordan talking to the team; it's just not something he's going to seek out.

''If there was someone that I felt was qualified at any point to talk to my team that contacted us, that would be fine,'' Skiles said. ''But I don't know that we'd go out of our way to search anybody out.

''My instinct is I've got a pretty level-headed team and I don't know if they need anything extra. But I certainly wouldn't rule anything like that out.''

BAD BLOOD? With the first-round matchup set, Bulls forward Tyson Chandler was asked if there was any bad blood between him and Wizards center Brendan Haywood. Chandler was ejected from a game last week in Washington after an incident with Haywood, who also was involved in a preseason fight with Bulls forward Antonio Davis.

''No, there's no bad blood,'' Chandler said. ''I don't have any bad blood with anyone in this league. Sometimes when I'm out there, emotions get involved, but that's with every player.''</div>

Skiles should be estatic and try very hard to get the man himself to talk. He is the game of basketball, and skiles to have such a lack luster attitude towards this makes me angry and think that skiles thinks that he is better than Mike or something of that nature.

Why would you go out of your way as a coach to get a former player to talk to your team? It's not worth the trouble, the players and the staff have done a good enough job up till this point so why try to get extra input? I like jordan as much as anyone, and all skiles was saying is that he's not going to go calling Michael up or anything, if Jordan contacted the Bull's obviously they'd be more than happy to have him have the little pep talk, or whatever they're talking about.

I really don't believe they're gonna be in need of a pep talk from MJ. Skiles will have them ready and pumped for their game vs. the Wiz this weekend. He won't need MJs help to get them psyched, hell, he probably won't have to do anything himself either.

It could help somewhat, the pep talk, but I don`t think its neccesary. The whole Bulls team and Skiles probably can`t wait until game one against Washington.

skiles what r u thinking. conflict of interest u gotta be kidding washington fired him! It culd help and it could hurt. It could put pressure on this young teams shoulders thinking that they have to somehow play like jordan did or it oculd help becuse it could elevate their game. I guess we'll never know.
