The only two Sonics to play all 82 games this season, and Luke was the only player to start all 82 games. A good result considering Ridnour's durability has been questioned in the past (has suffered injuries over both pre-seasons he's been with the Supes), and that Nick missed the entirety of 2003/04.
There is no stat that I respect more than playing 82 games. That is a character stat and both Luke and Nick have shown all year that they have good character. I don't want to hear about how guys need rest and want to sit out games. If you are a professional basketball player, you should prepare yourself to play every night. With all of the free agents that we have I like the fact that our core group are all hard working guys with good character. If Rick Sund returns next season, I'm sure that he will fill out our roster with guys that are more of a throwback than a lot of these modern day "give me what I deserve" players. Despite the ups and downs, great job Luke and Nick.
