Hi all, I have a doubt about this 79's picture. He is Earl Tatum, but he has two different numbers, #35 in his shorts and #43 in his shirt. Does anybody know why?

    Thanks in advance.

Earl Tatum wore #35 that year for the Pistons and #43 for the Celtics in the same season.

Ok, but why did he wear different numbers in the same uniform?

Was this from a basketball card? I know for some baseball cards they used a pic of a player with his old teams uni,and an artist retouched it to look like the new team. That could have been the intent here-not very well done.
