Defense wins games and Eddie Jordan knows this so I think he was pleased enough that the Washington Warriors even got this far. Also it would help if Arenas worked on his shot selection. I don't know who makes their team better Arenas or Hughes since Hughes gets quite a few assists himself and scores and defends. I'm guessing Damp probably doesn't get many touches because of the roster they have of nothing but scorers. Plus, he can't catch very well and also because he's not that great of a low post threat anyway. Last year with the Warriors he scored off a lot of garbage points or feeds from Nick Van Exel, who knew how to draw out the big man away from his assignment. Jamal Magloire is way more talented one-on-one in the post than him and he's got more aggressive style to his game. Damp just seems like such a slacker. Imagine if he was the #1 overall pick like Olowakandi, he would be loathed even more for being so disappointing. Damp has all the tools in the world to dominate since he's got a good balance between strength and athleticism, but he's a whiner and a pouter (although he's not as vocal as some to the press).
