does anyone know what happened o troy bell? i used to follow him when he was playing in college and he was one of my favorite players. i know he got drafted by memphis. i didn't follow him for like half a year, and then i watched a memphis game and i didn't see him playing. then i found out he got realesed. my question is why would memphis release such a young and developing talent, which in my opinion can be an allstar some day. and if he got released, i'm surprised he's not signed on another nba team. or is he? can someone give me an update? thanx
I think he was injured a lot and never say much playing time anyways under last years very deep Memphis team with their ten man rotation. I'm guessing he would either be playing in the Euro league right now or in the CBA. Either way he's probably doing something with basketball. But yeah I liked it him as a player too in college but I don't think his game was ever meant for the NBA. Bell was a scorer in a point guard's body and under his circumstances, couldn't transition into the league.
He plays for Real Madrid of Spain and was signed after Elmer Bennett got injured. I don't think he's doing much overseas either though.
