10 Changes You Want to See for Next Year

1. Get Mitch the hell out of the front office. He's a cancer and doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

2. Trade off Odom for a defensive minded big. The best scenario for me is bringing in Tyson Chandler out of Chicago and someone else to help fill Odom's contract.

3. Pick up Felton on draft day. We need a true point guard who isn't afraid to play some defense and won't jack up any halfway open look. In other words, get Felton and say goodbye to Chucky.

4. Use the MLE to get Gerald Wallace. He's getting better and better with more minutes and he brings a phenomenal defensive and athletic player as well. In other words, pretty much what the Lakers need.

5. Make it to the playoffs. Nothing more really needs to be said about that aside from that I don't want to go through such a crappy season again and end up with another lottery pick.

6. Get rid of George and his expiring contract for, preferrably, PJ Brown. He'll bring another defensive stopper to the team. Again, something they lacked this season.

7. Get a good coach. My preference would be bringing back Phil. I saw on SC that they were considering talking to him. If you can't get him, attempt to bring over Larry Brown or steal Scott Skiles from the Bulls. Someone that can teach this squad how to play some defense.

8. Don't fall apart next year. They had a decent start and were in the playoff race most of the season. They don't need another collapse after the All Star break like we saw this year.

9. Get rid of the people who are essentially waste of roster spots. We all know who those are so there are no need of mentioning them.

10. Stay consistent all year. We were semi-consistent earlier in the year, pretty much winning two, losing one. Than, the wheels fell off and we were losing 5 in a row, if not more. They need to remember how to win, not just on the road, but at home as well.

2- Give Kobe $100 million for being Kobe
3- Trade Odom
4- Get a defensive stopper.
5- Clean House (like Shape said)
6- Fire Mitch (yea, again)
7- Try to get Phil in here
8- Once again, Like Shape said, no long-term projects
9- Bring back excitement to Laker basketball/ its already exciting to watch kobe dunking on people. I just want them to win more
10- Buy kobe his own themepark.

 

1. Lakers get Phil Jackson to coach. He's still the best and he's got rings to prove it. He'll tell Mitch what to do.
2. Lakers get a real starting point guard. Somebody has to push the ball and set up an offense, even the triangle.
3. Lakers get a real starting power forward. Lamar is a slasher, and not one who bangs in the post.
4. Lakers get a defensive mindset, because defense wins games.
5. Lakers keep at most four small forwards.
6. Lakers draft quality rookies.
7. Shaq shuts his mouth. It's unbecoming of his greatness.
8. Basketball pundits and talking heads on TV stop kicking Kobe when he's down, like now.
9. Kobe to learn to stop playing one-on-five. Drives me crazy when he does that in games.
10. Lakers to always be intense in games. Every one of tem, because it's a TEAM game. No fading, no copping out by taking threes, always sticking to the game plan.
Some of the things I'd like to see.

 

1. Get back PJax!
2. Evaluate Odom's worth & Heart.
3. Work the Triangle.
4. Smack the kufi off Kupcakes head.
5. Dish Tierre brown, tony bobbitt & others.
6. Pick up some quality role players.
7. Get more aggressive on Offense & Defense.
8. Play consistant defense.
9. Get back to the playoffs.
10. Prove to shaq we dont need him to win a <u>Championship, by winning a championship.</u>
