"Of course he was discouraged," Jefferson said yesterday, "but he was never going to allow us to get discouraged. He did a great job keeping everybody motivated and letting everybody know this is an 82-game season." During the course of those 82 games, he proved he is without question a for-real NBA head coach, one who despite his youth (he is still just 34) and appearance (his will never be the picture next to the entry "NBA coach" in the dictionary) can win in this league. </div> Link --- <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Feel free to give Kidd and Carter all the credit in the world, because they deserve it, but remember that Brian Scalabrine and Nenad Krstic weren't just draft-day coups for Thorn, but products of a relentlessly productive teaching and workout environment fostered under Frank's program. He's won respect throughout the league for his ability to balance creativity, but never straying too far from his core beliefs. Congrats to Coach Franks, I think he did an excellent job during the up & downs of keeping us even and focused on staying in the playoff race with a chance to get in and the end, which is exactly what we ended up doing. I have to respect the way he put guys like Jabari Smith, Billy Thomas etc in position to get legitimate minutes from those guys when our roster was completely depleaded. I think this team took on the exact personality everybody said Coach Frank had last year when he took over for Byron Scott.
congrats he really deserved it to. i think they went 10-2 to get back to the playoffs.... and kdub nice sig tribute to frank
he gain all the respect of his players and that what made him great. in the start of the season ot looks like a lost season for the nets but he help turned that around.
