Listen up guys Lamar has a huge contract after coming off of a setback year because of injuries. Do you think a team will make a trade with a player who just had surgery and has a really big contract? I think we should trade Caron Bulter before free agency comes though because he can get alot more money value than he could with the Lakers. So we should try to get something out of him instead of letting him walk.
No way, Caron is the future of the team, we all know Lamar couldnt do it, we HAVE to deal him, although he has a massive contract, i can list two teams that might still want him. 1.Sacramento Kings 2.Utah Jazz
^ Terrible trade, why would the Lakers want a ball dominating hog? One of the reason's Odom was ineffective is because he's game is not that of a scorers, he's a playmaker who takes advantage of scoring oppurtunities when they're there, not a scorer. ...but not Francis, he just wants the ball all the time, that would be a horrible trade for the Lakers, their's no way Francis and Kobe work in a backcourt. He would just frustrate Kobe..

He also carried the team when Kobe was injured. The problem is Odom played out of position all season long. Lamar is still young, so he should recover from the shoulder surgery, and since he won't miss any court time in the regular season teams will still want him. They might actually pursue him more, because they can use his surgery to lowball the Lakers. I don't think the Lakers will trade Caron Butler. With the cap situation, Caron is a bargain, because he's still in his rookie contract. If Phil Jackson becomes the headcoach he will probably keep Odom. He said the Lakers were not using Odom properly last year.
Nah i don't think any body will trade lamar because they don't know if he suck now or if he is still good.
thats the point im trying to make because caron is making less money than he can so if we try to resign him, he will get alot more money but me might not be able to keep him, but anyway i think we should try to sell one of the two because they are both power forwards or like you said phil jackson could still use him at the 4 and use him for his speed advantage on all of the slower big guys
You keep caron....BUT if Phil comes back, you keep odom ESPECIALLY. KB8-LO7 and other, can be GOOD with phil teaching the triangle THE RIGHT WAY to these kids. Caron would come off the bench im sure, chucky would be moved or he would be a pine rider also. Mihm could really flourish under PJax i personally think. Think of his size (and mihm is a big boy) and his speed and ability to run the floor (and he makes most of his FT's) ...LA would have been the 5 seed or so had they had the direction and health and such this past year. I really believe that. I Want phil....WE NEED PHIL! I would feel much more secure having someone with phil's track record on the sidelines...he commands greatness from his players.
