Calling all Ipod people out there! The Ipod Video is SICK. My mom just got me one, and needless to say, it one of the most beautiful things I've laid eyes upon. But does anyone know how you delete songs from your Ipod? Oh, and I got the Ipod Video for 220$. Thanks to a 50 dollar gift card and a store 30$ rebate.
You have to use iTunes, which is a really sucky program. Oh, and btw, that screen scratches really easily. You could seriously scratch it by running it through your hair.

I don't really have too much of a problem with ITunes, I mean I just use Limewire to download stuff anyway so I'm only using it to put songs into my Ipod. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Oh and you have to use a specially encoded video file to watch a video, it sorta sucks.</div> I downloaded a program which converts it for you. Trip, after I downloaded Wedding Crashers on Limewire (about 2 hours worth of download), I had to convert it using Videora so it took about an hour, and then it takes about fifteen minutes to put it into the Ipod. I'm a patient person.
Thing is, the battery life when you're watching videos is like 2.5 hours. Essentially, by watching a movie, you'll have a dead iPod after watching it, maybe even before it ends if you're watching King Kong or something. Someone in school had it today and I took out my Zen Touch to compare, and man, mine is 3 times the thickness. I like the bright backlight and also the games that come with it. If I had to choose though, I'd still skip the iPod Video for a more traditional Personal Media Center.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting chineseafro:</div><div class="quote_post">Media Center ftw!</div> How is it? I've heard very good things about it and I'm so intrigued by the prospect of being able to copy every televised game into your hard drive, but I have some questions: 1) Do you get every channel you get on your TV? Does it give you even more? 2) Does it allow you to record PayPerView content? 3) Can you tune into radio stations from, say, Houston?
Bringing it back from the dead again. Recently bought a Samsung YP-Z5 4GB, sweet stuff. Pretty much the same size as a Nano, but has almost three times the battery life and a bigger screen.
