i would blame finley more than dirk.. at least dirk draw a lot of fouls and he also hit the late jumper which tied the game. While finley didnt do much, he just simply dissapear from the game..

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah although Bowen has been great it's obvious that it's not only him, Dirk's game has just been off for some reason, he's missing alot of shots that he would normally make and like Kingrex said he'll just settle for a jumpshot when he could take it hard to the ring and gain some confidence to shoot that jumper, but yeah like I said Bowen has been great but he's still not going to be known as the Dirk-Stopper from now on...</div>
Does Dirk even realize that if he takes it downlow against Bowen he will crush him? Yeah, a lot of his game has been affected mentally with him just settling for jumpers. I mean, if he pounded it down low time and time again, I really don't think Dallas would be in the situation they're in now.

But that's his style, basically that's his game. I rarely saw dirk driving to the lane against anybody. His style is shooting the ball from anywhere he likes. He's probably the best in shooting adjustment even with him being double teamed.. but i dont think he's good at banging down low.

Today we will see if dirk and the mavs have made their adjustments. I'd say the series will start to get interesting now but I'm still hoping and gunning for that sweep lol.

I agree that Finley could do more to contribute, but if you had the chance to watch the Mavs much this season, then you would notice how much they have moved away from relying on Finley's offensive output.

Don't get me wrong, he is still a good catch and shoot player, but his skills have been diminissing every year.

It will take everybody to beat Houston at the Toyota Center, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs win despite a huge offensive output from Finley.
