I was really suprised both Boston and Houston rolled over in a game 7. I don't know what to say, I guess you have to look at the preparation but at the end of the day if your players can't get up and bring it after fighting tooth and nail for 6 games you have to put it on the players.

Shaq say his injury is really bothering him. The other day he said he was 'playing like Erick Dampier'. Now he says

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He said he has found it difficult to watch himself on tape.

"It's not me. That's Shawn Bradley and Gheorghe Muresan, mixed in one," he said.

Wow Phoenix looked unstoppable last night. They couldn't stay in front of Nash and I was impressed the way they played without Joe Johnson, who I've always thought was the key for them i.e, if he shoots well you can't beat them.

Especially Nash, he stepped up his scoring with JJ out, 27 and 17 is incredible.

Nowitski looks terrible. I don't know what his rep is as a playoff player but he's playing really tentative, it seems like more than a slump since he's not even taking his normal 17 footers or three pointers.

He's bulling his way to the hoop and crashing into guys in the lane. Granted Marion is guarding him very well but for a guy who came in 3rd in the MVP voting he's not responding very well.

This series is Amare's coming out party as a bonafide superstar of the game.

Averaging around 35 and 16 for the series I believe.

Yep. He was destroying the Mavs in the post - I like how aggressive and intense he was, his go to move was the dunk, basically.

I heard his teammates had to tell him to calm down throughout the game.

Nash was incredible last night going for 48. Even if the Mavs say they're going to play him straight up and stay at home on the other guys, he still has to do it and he did.

Good strategy by Avery to make that adjustment, those 3's and dunks have a demoralzing effect especially if you're grinding it out on the other end to get your points.

I just find it odd that it Phoenix doesn't have any plays that start with Nash just initiating a pass to the wing and dump it down to Amare or someone else to get them involved. Last night it was pick and roll or nothing.
