Kerry Collins has lost some of his game? Who says? He's thrown for more than 3,000 each of the last five seasons. All World QB Michael Vick has never thrown for 3,000. If Kerry is throwing for more yards than the greatest QB ever (gag), then I'd say he's doing okay.

Vick isn't the greatest QB ever. When has someone on here said that. Collins may throw for a lot of yards but he throws almost as many picks as TD's.

2000
22 TD's 13 picks 3600 yards. It gets worse from there.
2001
3764 yards 19 TD and 16 INT's
2002
4073 19 TD and 14 INT's
2003
3110 13 TD and 16 INT's
2004
3495 21 TD and 20 INT's

The last 2 years he has thrown 34 TD's and 36 picks. I think he is losing some of his game.

Maybe no one has said it outright, but I can read threads like "2005 Record Predictions." If Vick isn't the greatest, isn't just a matter of time, right? [IMG] My point is that I think Kerry Collins is a solid QB. You say he's fading? Is he fading or adjusting to a new football team that is struggling? I'm just tired of solid QBs being dismissed while guys like Vick and Losman are being hailed as the new great QBs when they haven't done anything. You guys keep saying it doesn't matter who's playing WR because Collins is throwing the ball. The truth is that Collins is that has thrown for more yards than Vick every single year they have both been in the league. If you spew that crap for Collins, you have to say the same crap for Vick.

I wouldn't midn seeing Moss and TO on the same team. There will be good and bad things about it. Good: Kerry Collins will have another option when he's in the pocket. Bad: TO and Moss rivialry will spark up and two egos on one team is not a good thing.

wow though just imagine the possiblities of TO and Moss on the same team. jeez plus with a good running game in Jordan they would probably pass the Colts in best offense category. I'd be so scared if i were a d coordinator facin that team

I am simply defending Vick. You guys all seem to think he is a bad player. I guess he is the worse QB in the NFL. I've said many times that he is no Manning or Culpepper but he is a solid WINNING QB.

Collins adjusting to a new team. Maybe last year but what about 2003 then. I am sure he still new the Giants system. He is no longer a SOLID QB. He is still going to throw as many picks as TD's with Moss. No one on here has said Vick and Losman are the new great QB's. Vick is a better QB than Kerry Collins? Collins career rating is 73.9. Vicks career rating is 76.9. hmmmmmm I am sure Vick's is going to only get worse from here on out right. I mean he's not that good ask the Panthers.

2. Someone said they were tight on cap. They aren't.

The Raiders are insanely close to the cap already.....trading Porter woudl accelerate his entire bonus and force them to cut many players....it wont happen as the trade is written....

Dude Beef is always right (well usualy right) on this stuff.

I am sure not but the last I heard they would have enough for TO. I heard about this "trade" a while ago on another forum and some guy said the Raiders had the money. He is a good source as well but he might be wrong.

no no the raiders dont have enough money at all, i remember people were speculating about how they could get Moss with their cap space, and now taking on Porters bonus in this rumored trade i dont htink so. They definatly dont have enough for that and then to sign TO to a new "fair" contract. They had to cut and trade some players just to get Moss. I'd say Beef is right on this one.

Ok I guess the guy probably go confused. Sometimes info on forums are wrong. Nothing to worry about anyway since the trade isn't going to happen. Plus did you here TO is going to skip training camp and wants to play summer basketball setup by the Sacromento Kings. I like what TO does on the field but now he is just getting out of hand. I like the fact that the Eagles just keep ignoring him.

I still like the fact how the Eagles are treating TO. Just ignoring him. By opening day do you think TO is going to be suited up and ready to play.

The Eagles said TO couldn't hoop it up. I, too, love how the Eagles are handling TO.

Personally, I don't care if TO is ready or not.

I think it is great, one more question for every member of eagles to get asked by press 100 times. Slowly wearing them down to the point it tears team apart.

Yea I think when he relizes the Eagles have a decent chance of making it back to the SB with him this year he will come back. Then again it is TO.

The Raiders likely do have the cap space to take on TO's current contract, especcially since his $8 mil of remaining signing bonus would accelerate onto the Eagles....but if they part with Porter, than his bonus accelerates on them, and they are in trouble....and they would still have to get TO a new deal and another huge bonus....

If that happened, and owens numbers dropped off badly(i.e. price) I cant wait to hear the spin on how it isnt vicks fault.

Owens has had more than 1 good year.
Price has had 1 good year.

I don't think the Eagles are going to trade him to the team that is one of their biggest threat.

Owens + Vick = Dominating Numbers.

I wish we would find out.

FYI...Eagles only owe TO about 2.5 mil in signing bonuses, the rest is a roster bonus he recieves if he makes the team this year. Eagles are brilliant with the way they made this contract. If they cut him now, they will only have about a 2.5 mil cap hit. They knew this guy could do this, and they made a contract in such a way that they insure themselves from him handcuffing the whole franchise. Another reason, why Joe Banner is the best at what he does,
