<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">By Joe Rexrode Lansing State Journal Erazem Lorbek left Michigan State after his freshman season hoping to secure a spot in the NBA. Two years later, he's finally pursuing it. Lorbek will keep his name in the June 28 draft - after withdrawing it from the past two - he said Tuesday by phone from Bologna, Italy. "I'm ready, I feel pretty good about it," said Lorbek, who is playing with Climamio Bologna in Italy's top pro league. "My whole game has improved, especially around the basket." Lorbek, who is from Slovenia, stunned MSU coach Tom Izzo in May of 2003 when he left the program on the advice of his newly hired agent, David Bauman - who told Lorbek he'd be a first-round pick - and his father. When Lorbek realized he was a second-rounder at best, he pulled his name and stayed in Europe. Although Lorbek's stock has changed little after two seasons in Italy, he said it's time to give it a shot. NBA draft analyst Chris Monter said Lorbek is still a second-round projection. The draft comprises two rounds and 60 picks.</div> Source
