I don't think this is any news, I've been knowing this for awhile. Phil can run the team as good as Sloan, he and Sloan are like Stockton and Malone though, it would be hard to see one without the other.
Phil Johnson would make a great replacement, if Sloan leaves. He's been coaching for about 30 seasons now, and he has plenty of experience as a head coach. He has had the COY award once, and has been with the Jazz for a long time now.
