You know what I think... You know that it's true. With Shaq out, the only guy that they can depend on is Dwyane Wade, and he is up against Larry Hughes, the league leader in steals. And every game Arenas played like crap, the next game he dominated. You know it's true. Hail to da Wiz Kidz

Wizards and ECF <div class="quote_poster">Quoting AntyMcJameJame:</div><div class="quote_post">Hey, Did you forget 'bout da Wiz Kidz</div> Nobody is forgetting about "Da Wiz"! They don't have what it takes to get past Miami. They might win a game in the series but they don't have anoyone who can stop Sahq' or Wade. It's not just about defensive matchups either, miami is a much better team. We all know that it is probable that Detroit and Miami will meet in the Eastern Conference Finals. I'm looking forwar for these teams to meet. I beleive that Miami will beat Detroit but it's going to be a great series. I see Miami winning the series in 6 games.
the pistons are taking the same route they did last playoffs, by being battle tested and taking their lumps. for those who see the philly and indy series as signs of weakness, i see the pistons being tested early and responding to the challenges. miami hasn't been tested yet nor have they seen a team nearly as defensive-minded as the pistons yet. miami better come out strong or the pistons are stealing at least one of the first two in miami. pistons in 6.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Da_Future_2k5:</div><div class="quote_post">..... ok lets debate this. reason being, the Heat are 10 times better than the Pistons. Just watch a Pistons game then a Heat game. notice how much better shots the Heat get, notice how the defense of the Heat is just as good if not better, notice that Wade is better than any player on the Pistons. and notice hes the 2nd best player on the Heat..</div> what a brilliant analysis. miami plays defensive juggernauts in the Nets and Wizards, while Detroit faces Philly (leading the league in forced turnovers) and Indy (no explanation necessary). i fail to notice how the Heat's defense is "just as good if not better" than the Pistons. i'll leave that to you to prove. i do notice Wade's brilliance. i do notice that Shaq and Wade could possibly be the best two players in the series. i also remember that Kobe/Shaq were noted as the best two players in the Lakers/Pistons series. i fail to see the point. since the Heat are 10 times better than the Pistons, i suppose they should sweep the Pistons quite handily.
The Pistons are playing championship ball and the Heat are steamrolling inferior opposition. Something has got to give. I hope to see a clash of the titans when the Pistons play the Heat. And make no mistake, they will be the last 2 teams standing in the East. Nice run by the Wizards, but like I said, they are not ready yet. Pacers are scrapping and giving the Pistons more than they bargained for, but without Artest, it is just no contest.

I hope this answered the question to the thread. I must say, I was shocked that so many people were sleeping on the Pistons who are the NBA champs! I already made my prediction Pistons in 6 and I stand by it.

I think they stepped up their game a notch when they played Miami in game 1 or else they would have been toast. When Detroit plays defense as a team, they can be the most flawless defensive unit in the league. I think Detroit would lose in 5 if Shaq was totally healthy. I say Miami in 7. This thread is an old one, when I first saw it I was very surprized at the title...
Had nothing to do with the Indiana series, the guy who created this topic was talking about the Sixers series and just because the Pistons dropped a game to Philly who were a much better team than what Miami had to face in either round. He failed to see that. One could argue the Pacers could easily take Miami to 7 games, their style of play is the kind that would give the Heat problems. Like the Pistons. The Pacers were so used to the way the Pistons played that they knew how to play them well. Plus their emotions were always going to be high. With all this said, this Pistons/Heat series is not over but It still proves that the Heat aren't facing a cupcake team like they were in the opening two rounds.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Da_Future_2k5:</div><div class="quote_post">..... if the Heat lose to the weak Pistons then I will do whatever any Piston fan wants me to on here, thats how confident I am that the Heat will destroy them in the Eastern Finals IF the Pistons can even make it that far. </div> pistons win the series, so are you a man of your word?
Da_Future_2k5 is now at Allnet's mercy, Allnet is the biggest Piston fan on the board...make it good Allnet..
