A couple mumblings of KG possibly being traded at hoopshype.com ; Of course it is far from anything to worry about for you guys at the moment. The rumor mentioned that the Wolves would want a Shaq-like deal (3 starters and a pick) to let go of KG, with the Nets as a possible destination. Thoughts?
There won't be any trades that involve KG,owner of the team said they won't trade KG for anyone. ( I wouldn't trade him too,they just need to get their heads back on track like they had a season ago)
it's crazy to put such thread on the line...you al know it wont happen in the near future who knows if at all...
I think the only the way KG will get traded any time soon, will be when he demands a trade. I'd doubt that happens. It's just rumors.
unless KG demands a trade, i don't see them moving him. he's only 29, so it's not like he's over the hill. i know that a lot of things are messed up with the wolves right now (no coach, wally wanting out, the cap) but i think that they should hold on to him and build around him. i know that's prolly not what he wants to hear, but i think that if they can just get him some good complelmentary guys, a tough, defensive supporting cast and a solid #2 scorer, they'll be right back in. all they need is someone to take pressure off of KG, and some guys who will get out and defend...they can be good again soon, they just have to be smart. i don't see him going anywhere.

Carter needs 30 shots per game to be an effective player, something he would never get being the 2nd scoring option to Garnett. While Richard Jefferson can contribute in other ways, like being a talented on-ball defender, a rebounder, etc..Almost the perfect #2. But it doesnt really matter cause neither deal would ever happen.
dont think kg will demand a trade... he's a team player.... when you say minny.. it's kg... besides mchale will not trade him... ever....
One thing that people are using as ammunition for this rumor is how the Wolves season ended pre-maturely (I can guaran-damn-tee that we wouldn't have been swept by the Suns). But another thing that they (and Garnett) needs to remember is that his input kept this team the way it was.
KG is not going anywhere period. Dave D'Alessandro, who covers the Nets and the NBA in the Star-Ledger, formulated this theory and he admitted that he was going to make this one up just for the sake of writing up a story. Carter and Jefferson are not worth KG period. The only guy worth for KG is Lebron James or even Dwayne Wade. That's it.

I don't believe either of these guys are worth KG straight up. Both of these guys (plus other top players) need help to contend with the upper echelant, KG needs help to become legend.
I dont think KG is going anywhere, but i do knw that Sacramento is going to make a push for him. They have been setting themselves up for a big trade since CWebb left, they have a ton of tradeable players. But either way I dont think its gonna happen.
