Well our offseason couldn?t come any sooner ending this season. The Knicks don?t have any cap space and only have their MLE to use. They do have 30 million expiring next year from Penny Hardaway and Tim Thomas. Here are some free agents I think we should look at:
    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting The FA's:</div><div class="quote_post">Tyson Chandler
    Eddy Curry
    Chris Duhon
    Frank Williams
    Zydrunas Ilgauskas
    Jeff McInnis
    Dajaun Wagner
    DerMarr Johnson
    Wesley Person
    Elden Campbell
    Nikoloz Tskitishvili
    Jon Barry
    Dale Davis
    Marko Jaric
    Kerry Kittles
    Zeljko Rabracca
    Bobby Simmons
    Luke Walton
    Stromile Swift
    Dan Gadzuric
    Zaza Pachulia
    Eddie Griffin
    Samuel Dalembert
    Kyle Korver
    Joe Johnson
    Ha Seung-Jin
    Damon Stoudamire
    Bobby Jackson
    Ray Allen
    Jerome James
    Ronald Murray
    Vlad Radmanovic
    Donyell Marshall
    Kwame Brown
    Larry Hughes</div>
I know that there are many free agents who are very unlikely to sign with us, but I just wanted to get out all of the ones I think can be a good fit for us. I?ll narrow it down soon.

It all depends on who you guys take in the draft. However, I do think you guys should take a strong look at Dan Gadzuric and Zaza Pachulia (Two Bucks). Either of them would cost less than the MLE, so they are reasonable options. Both are hard nose Centers who can grab boards and play tough.

Agguire would turn Kwame Brown into a 20/10 threat in three games.

Wow! What could possess you to say such a thing???

Anyway, we dont have a chance of signing half the free agents on that list. Frank Williams is definetely a player we should take a look at and we wont have to use our MLE. Nikoloz Tskitishvilli is another player that would come cheap and does have some potential(we could send him back to Europe to develop, it couldnt hurt). Gadzuric and Pachulia are two big bodies that could allow us to play Sweetney at powerforward. We should see f we can sign them both with our MLE. Those are the only free agents that we need and have a good chance of signing. I'm not too familiar with Gadzuric though. Can someone tell me a little about him?

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

    20/10?? 20 minutes/10 turnovers?

Actually he might be okay with the Knicks, but he'd have to go cheap just because he's shown nothing so far and he can't catch. Also he doesn't really create his own offense that well, although he can sometimes. I think he's on his way to being with all the other underachievers because the difference between him and somebody like Jermaine O'neil who went from disappointment to stardom is that JO has desire and work ethic. A guy like Kwame just doesn't get it done even though he's been spoonfed as the franchise player. He's shown flashes, but who wants inconsistency from their bench?

I like this pickup. We can get him for cheap and he does have talent written all over him. Whether he uses it or not is up to him, but having a 7 foot, 23 year old center drafted 1st overall (shows his talent...I guess) working with Aguirre. I think he can become a decent player who knows sometime in the future if he applies himself, he could be a consistent 20/10 player.

I like Kwame Brown but he's know to start and I don't think he would like to go to a rebuilding team coming off the bench, and leave the wizard who are currently in the playoffs.

The Knicks aren't rebuilding though. Also Kwame Brown hasn't been getting along with the Wizards irganization that well. Also many teams won't give him more than the MLE because he hasn't proved anything. New York's bright lights might attract him here. I just want him here because he's young, talented, and we have Mark Aguirre around.

Is just that we have so many talented and experience Fowards and I don't think he will get more than 10 minutes of playtime with the knicks and I think he's not going to like that either.
