<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Pwn3d!:</div><div class="quote_post">The best pass I have seen since Brent Barry won NBA.com's assist of the season as a Clipper rookie.

I've watched the footage three times, and I'm still not completely sure how he did it.</div>

No pass was better than that pass Barry made. I assume you are talking about the one that he made at Boston Garden where he wrapped the ball completely around his head to pass for a finishing dunk. It fooled me every time I watched the replay.

That being said that move and pass Luke made was the best sequence I've seen all season. Not too often I get up and cheer during a game. That hasn't happen for me since Flip's dunk on Zach Randolph last season. Playing on instinct with confidence is a beautiful thing.

Yep, best pass I have ever seen made.

What impressed me about Luke though is he didn't have the luxury of planning his pass all the way down the court like Barry. He never had complete control of the ball, and as you said it was all done on instinct.

Obviously he still has a fair way to go, and his opponent still scored 35, but that's the sort of thing you just can't teach in a point guard.

He had another pass earlier that, while not as flashy, was just as impressive. He hustled after a loose ball, turned up court and threw a perfect, tough angle bounce pass to AD (I think it was) for a layup.

Some of my favorite pics of the game

Reggie's dunk over Miller. Look at Miller lol

Ray's driving layup in the last seconds to put it away. Like Barkley said to let a guy drive from halfcourt with no one touching him is ridiculous.

The Big Anabolic celebrating after the game. According to him the Kings gave him a garbage bag to clean out his locker after they cut him. He claims that was 'the turning point of my career' lol

There were some amazing moments in the game. The crowd seemed a little out of sync, though. In game 1 the crowd spontaneously chanted "Reggie, Reggie" early in the game when he got to the free throw line fighting for another offensive rebound. Chants of "defense" appeared not prompted by the arena vision. Last night they couldn't clap together, their chants were staggered and even the singing of "Hey, hey, hey, goodbye" after Ray got that driving layup was like a bad version of a row, row, row your boat in the round. It was surreal, but at least the Sonics had their rhythm. I haven't heard it that loud since the GP return with the Lakers where Ray and Kobe had a 4th quarter shootout that Ray won.
