I'm currently in a mock league and It is now free-agency and I'm trying to get Ray Allen on my roster but of course I will have to give up a good player o get him. This is the deal on the table Ray Allen Vlad Radmanovic Jerome James for Jermaine O'Neal now my current depth chart is currently PG-Jamaal Tinsley/Rafer Alston/Anthony Johnson SG-Jerry Stackhouse/Morris Peterson SF-Mickael Pietrus/Keith Van Horn/Matt Harpring PF-Dirk Nowitzki/Austin Croshere C-Jermaine O'Neal/Marc Jackson Now the question is, Is it worth losing a forward of the quailty of JO just to get a top tier SG? with Dirk and JO as my main frontcourt It would basically destroy every line-up in the league. So would a Dirk/JO frontcourt give me a better chance at a title than a Ray/Dirk duo? does losing JO give me basically no post game? It's a tough decision so I wanted so basic feedback.
I'd go for it, although Jermaine is a great player, so is Allen, and you get two other good players in the deal, one of which is a center to replace the gap left by O'Neal.
I think that you should go for it also. It looks pretty good: PG-Jamaal Tinsley/Rafer Alston/Anthony Johnson SG-Ray Allen/Jerry Stackhouse/Morris Peterson SF-Mickael Pietrus/Keith Van Horn/Matt Harpring PF-Dirk Nowitzki/Vlad Radmanovic/Austin Croshere C-Jerome James/Marc Jackson This is pretty much a steal for you.
