Humphries Humps was 6'9" when he was at Minnesota, and measured 6'9.5" in shoes last June at the pre draft camp in Chicago. If he grew 3 inches since leaving Minn, then he's a legitimate 7 footer now right??...............Garbage!! Hoopshype did a great job on this one. To be candid, they must have copied their info out of a home town rag in Minn where they think he's Paul Bunyon.
Well, the article is true in the sense that Humphries was only listed at about 6'8" when he entered Minnesota. He's defintely grown a bit, though probably not 3 inches. He grew about an inch to his NBA pre-camp measurement and then probably had eeked out a tiny bit. Neverthless, he grew some, but being 20, he's got very little chance of growing further.
It's against the rules to post an entire article, and besides, Stockton isn't even awake. Just go register, it's free and takes 2 minutes.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KS1:</div><div class="quote_post">Stockton, can you please post the whole article since I"m too lazy to register. Please.</div> That's the only part on Kris Humphries and the Jazz in the article. As Zhone said, if you want to see the whole article you'll have to register, which is free . As for Humphries, it's very unlikely he has grown nearly three inches since leaving the Gophers. He's grown since then, but not 3 inches. The extra height and weight should help Humphries though.
