Bobcats coach/general manager Bernie Bickerstaff moved from the fourth pick to the second last June to select rookie of the year Emeka Okafor. Bickerstaff now says he'd consider consolidating his two first-round picks into one higher pick if that gets him what he wants most. "That's an option if we like a player that much," Bickerstaff said Wednesday. The Bobcats have their own first-round pick, guaranteed to be top-six, plus the Cleveland Cavaliers' pick, which could be first, second, third, 13th or 14th. The draft order will be settled late this month when the NBA holds its draft lottery. The draft is June 28 in New York. Bickerstaff can't yet discuss underclassmen making themselves available for the draft. But sources strongly indicate that the Bobcats want North Carolina freshman Marvin Williams. Bickerstaff said however this plays out, he's excited about what's available in June. "I think we're going to get two good players," Bickerstaff said. "Guys we'll have to develop, but guys who will be in the league with longevity."</div> Link

They have their own pick, which is guaranteed to be among the top six, plus they have Cleveland's first-round pick, which also will be in the lottery somewhere. They will be active in trade talks. Last year, they traded up from No. 4 to 2 to take Okafor, and this time Coach and General Manager Bernie Bickerstaff hopes to package the two to move as high as he needs to get what he wants.</div> Source I think the Bobcats should just keep both picks and grab two players instead of trying to pursue Paul, Bogut, or Marvin.
I think it depends on who gets chosen in what order. They obviously are looking at a couple select players.
