Did anyone see yesterday's Wizards game? Gilbert Arenas had da skill. And with the Bulls coming to MCI Friday, do you think they'll be eliminated by the Wiz Kidz?

The Bulls don't have enough to beat the Wizards in a 7-game series. They've just lost too much of their firepower, but they can really build on this experience for next year.

So, I think the Wizards will eliminate the Bulls, especially the way they play in the MCI center.

I called it from the beginning, Washington in 6. We have too much fire power for them. Expect Gilbert Arenas to absolutely explode in game 6...

I also agree. Also take Hughes and Jamison up for the Wiz. When one of the Big Three were injured, the other two stepped their games up. And look out for D.C.'s big men. I think that they will give even Shaq a challenge the way that they play.

Arhh, Wiz Kidz sticking up for each other.

I'll see you after the Heat sweep them, which would make it 8-0 this season? [IMG]

With the Bulls missing two important players in Eddie Curry and Luol Deng, the Wizards better win. I think the Bulls have played surprisingly well just to get it to 6 games.

I think the Wizards will take at least one of 2, all the firepower will allow them to maybe take one, but no Jarvis Hayes, and no Kwame, it's not really a promising series.

If the bulls had Eddy Curry and Luol Deng we would not even be talking about the Wizards what the bulls needed was offense they can get that from Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon but the rest of those players you dont really know what they are going to give you any night.I know for sure Eddy and Luol would have given that instant offense and would have both been deffensive presense cause the way Washington was killing the Bulls in the paint I dont think that would have happened with Eddy in their. Also Luol is long enough and as athletic as Antwan Jamison to give him real problems that Nocioni just could not give them.

[IMG] if the Wizards had Jarvis Hayes, this would've been done in 5 games instead, common, that's just stupid, Curry and Deng help, but their's things the can't do that the guys they had on can. If Curry was their, the Bulls interior defense would be much weaker, which would help the Wizards perimeter players in slashing, and also make it easier for the Wiz big men offensively. He might score, but he could give up even more than he scores.

Deng is good, but the Nocioni performance helped them win Game 1, if Deng was starting, Nocioni would not have done that, and they could've lost game 1. So please, I don't want to hear this if Deng and Curry were there we wouldn't be talking about the Wizards. The Wizards largest margin of victory vs the Bulls was when Curry and Deng were there during the season.

Right, right, assuming he plays and Curry and Deng don't. That's fair [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">that's just stupid, Curry and Deng help, but their's things the can't do that the guys they had on can. If Curry was their, the Bulls interior defense would be much weaker,</div>
He improved his defense before his heart problem. Also, we were getting burned inside because none of our bigs have any mobility, and the ones that do don't have the height to guard Thomas and Haywood.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">which would help the Wizards perimeter players in slashing, and also make it easier for the Wiz big men offensively. He might score, but he could give up even more than he scores.</div>
Eddy may not be the best defender, but it seems he gets no credit whatsoever. He has done more defensively in the low post than Othella and AD all year long, and yet, because he doesn't put up consistent blocking numbers, he's all of a sudden not a good defender.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Deng is good, but the Nocioni performance helped them win Game 1, if Deng was starting, Nocioni would not have done that, and they could've lost game </div>
Nocioni was feeling it that game. Maybe he wouldn't have put up the same numbers as his minutes would have gone down, but he would still have the same impact in the time given to him. And who knows, Deng could have had a big night as well.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1. So please, I don't want to hear this if Deng and Curry were there we wouldn't be talking about the Wizards. The Wizards largest margin of victory vs the Bulls was when Curry and Deng were there during the season.</div>
Was it the 7 point win, early in the season before we got our groove. We weren't in any rhythm until about 20 games into the season. I like how you hide those facts.

It's plain and simple. You guys had too many weapons. But we would be able to counter those with Curry and Deng. Deng is one of our better defenders, while Curry is not as bad as a post defender as everyone says. Deng could be thrown at Hughes to slow him down. We wouldnt have had to give Pike as much time as he played. Kirk wouldn't be tired on offense from guarding Hughes. Ben wouldn't have to be guarding Hughes. Deng and Curry would have provided a total 28 points and 10 rebounds a game. Deng is the better offensive player than Nocioni. Curry is the better offensive player than Harrington. Curry is a better post defender than Harrington.

    Does everything make sense now?

Not having Deng and Curry was huge. That's about 28 pts they're losing that they have to make up elsewhere. By not having them, Chandler had to play more minutes then he was accustomed to, as did Noc, Othella, and AD. Losing those two guys was huge, despite what you want to think. Had those two been in this series, I think it would have been a whole different ball game.
