Iguodala, selected by the 76ers with the ninth overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, was the only Sixers player to start every game this season, including the five playoff games. He became the first Sixers rookie to start every game since Clarence Weatherspoon (1992-93). This kid is a stud. The Sixers may have run into a Detroit buzzsaw, but AI and AI jr. will be rocking the Eastern conference for a long time. Now if they can just get Webber and Dalembert to play more consistently, this team might make some noise in the playoffs next year.
Well, I mean this was already expected. Iguodala has been a great impact rookie coming into the league and has really helped this franchise. From his high flying dunks to his great defense, Iguodala has shown time and time again that he is and will be a special player in the future. Keep on the lookout for this guy's future because if he continues improving, he will be an incredible all around player.
Congrats to Iguodala. This was very much expected and he was only two votes away from unanimously being chosen for the First Team, but what the heck he mad it nonetheless. What Iguodala has brought to this team is amazing. We haven't had a high octane player like this since Jerry Stackhouse and the fact that he can do everything is just simply amazing. When you look at the players in the league that can do everything not just scoring and rebounding, but scoring, rebounding, passing, defense, shot blocking and the whole nine yards you will probably come up with a superstar name, and to think that Iguodala can do all those things gives us something to be very excited about. So again, congrats to him and I look forward to what he has to bring next season. Lastly, once he gets more accumulated with playing Webber he will be playing at that higher level we projected sooner than expected. When they?re playing a two man game with one another they execute very well. From Webber posting up and passing it back to get positions and Iguodala rooming around and gets that slick pass from C-Webb and slams it home puts a smile on your face. I can?t wait till they get through training camp and start off fresh next season.
He deserved it. He does so many things that don't show up on the stat sheet such as covering the other teams best offensive threat and containing them. Still only 21 years old I am looking forward to seeing him in years to come. Especially if Iverson and him can gel together and become one of the league's best duo.
Andre is a great young talent; this was a well-deserved accomplishment for him. Iguodala can do it all, when they said he couldn't shoot he came out and shot better than many thought, and he also played lock down defense throughout the whole season. If Iguodala keeps it up, and works hard he is going to be a great player and a future all star in my opinion. Next year, I hope he develops on the offensive end of the floor, I know he can shoot, and he can create his own shot. But a lot of the time he is too passive on offense so hopefully Andre and O'Brien can find a way to work him into the offense more.
I think these were just flashes of what Iggy can really be. He has become a fan favorite and I`m looking really forward to see what Andre can bring in the future. With AI, the duo can become a very nice pair on the court. But like I said about the flashes Iggy has shown us, it means he`s only going to get better. Without a doubt he should have a say in the Dunk Contest, and I think he is capable of becoming a perenial All-Star in the league. Congrats to Andre and good luck on an amazing career.
Iguodala is a very special player. He can do anything, imagine him not wasting all the energy on the defensive end and putting it on to offense,Oh my god.
