Speaking of Silas' future, Charlotte Bobcats coach Bernie Bickerstaff has been hinting he might give up his coaching duties to concentrate on being the team's general manager after the season. That might open the door there for Silas, who was highly successful and very popular there when he was coaching the Hornets. Silas is planning on selling his homes in Cleveland and New Orleans and he and his wife have bought property outside of Charlotte with the intention of living there.</div> Source This would be an outstanding move by the franchise.
Yes, it would be a very oustanding move if they could get Silas there, it would work wonders for Emeka Okafor as Silas does well with bigs, and he's an overall great, successful coach that can make the Bobcats improve that much more.
Silas' most successful years were in Charlotte, and although he's getting a little bit older, he'd be a great mentor for this young team. He's a player's coach, but he also takes his role seriously and is well respected around the league. It would definitely help Bickerstaff by easing some of his duties, as Bickerstaff seems to be constantly coaching/evaluating/scouting.
He is everything this team could want in a coach. He would be amazing in Charlotte, and could help Emeka's progress and intensity rise to new levels
Yeah, I'd love to see him go to a team like Charlotte. He could help Okafor out a lot and knows what he's doing when it comes to using players right; the Cavs' organization must not have seen that, though.
That would be great move for the Charlotte Bobcats, If they draft Marvin Williams and get Paul Silas to come coach, they would without a doubt become my favorite team in the league just because of those two key movements and the progress of Emeka Okafor.

Well, I guess you could call it bandwagoning but how do fans originate then? They cant like a team for no apparent reason unless there your home team.
