i really think Nash did derserve this, but there has been some10 that has been botherin if he would win. remember when jason kidd came the first year to the nets. he did the same thing yet losin it to tim duncan i think. there has been some players durin the years that changed their team but they didnt win

I believe San Antonio did that year. Team record factors in heavily (as it should).
He really deserves this because he was the most "valuable" player to his team. They didn't have him on the court, they lost. Simple as that!

Wow I didn`t know they announced the award this early. Anywho, big congrats to Steve Nash on becoming the MVP. We all know what he has done for the Suns and the NBA this season and it`s easy to say this guy can flat play.
Snubbed. I thought NBA was trying to promote defense, I guess not. Definately Duncan didn't earn it on offense alone.
Canada won something Wow, Steve really deserved it, I didn't think they were going to give it to him though because he is a point guard. BTW, the Wizards aren't worried about Shaq...ok, you saw right through that lie
Steve Nash deserved it and I'm proud because he's Canadian, however, Shaq deserved it more than him. In related news, when Eddie Jordan heared the news, his reaction resembled in three simple words: "NO NOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", screamed Jordan!!
Congrats to Steve Nash winning it this year! He deserved it and as long as it went to either Steve or Shaq, I would be happy.
I thought <font color="Red">Shaq</font> was going to win it since he's only won one in his career. But I can't argue that Nash had a fantastic season. I guess Shaq will have to settle for another <font color="Red">NBA FINALS MVP </font>
it was a toss up, I think alot of Nash fans would say Nash was snubbed, but not on this board in particular. IMO, I think Nash deserves it more, especially becasue of the whole turnaround of the 30 to 60 win season(although that wasnot all Nash's doings). This will certianly drive Shaq to win the Finals MVP...that is if the Spurs don't beat the heat, which of course, they will .
Steve Nash deserves this. He's had a huge role in turning the Suns around from last season, and he does a great job of running the high scoring Suns offense. When Nash wasn't on the court, the Suns lost a lot of direction. Shaq would have also been a deserving MVP.
Nash played well this season but a good reason why he played so well is because he was in Point Guard Heaven. He has two athletic big men with jumpshots, two excellent 3 point shooters who are all fast and athletic and run the floor well. That's many PG's dream. He was put in an excellent position. But congrats to him though.
I pull for the point guard, just like I did when Kidd was going for it. You just lead your team more as a point guard, and that weighs heavily in my MVP opinion.
