<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LOCKOUT-WARY: The Nuggets are worried about a lockout that could come July 1 if the NBA and the players association can't come to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement.

"I'm hearing from the players association there's a good chance we may be locked out," center Marcus Camby said.

Guard Andre Miller said he's "concerned big time." Nuggets coach George Karl said a lockout would especially hurt the Nuggets, considering their late-season momentum.

"If I was in Milwaukee, I'd probably be rooting for a possible lockout," said Karl, who previously coached the Bucks.

Nuggets union representative Mark Pope remains optimistic because he said neither side wants to be like the NHL, which lost 2004-05 to a lockout.

"The hockey thing is in everybody's pocket," he said. "Hey, let's not (mess) this up."

The Nuggets' annual open tryout camp is July 2. Vandeweghe said a lockout could result in a date change. </div>

I think everybody even remotly intereseted in basketball needs to be wary about this cba. The league can not afford to go through another lockout like they did last time. This would destroy a lot of the fan base, much like the NHL lockout has to hockey.
