Stram was a little before my time, but I gotta' tip my hat to the guy who snagged the only Super Bowl victory in the franchise's history. Best wishes to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
He helped change the game of Football. With the win in SB 4. That helped the emerging of two leagues happen. Great Coach. Wish I was alive to watch him coach back then.
Im watchin a nfl films video about him on NFL Network, he went through some bad times but end up as one of the great coaches. It is sad to see him go

The first three Super Bowls were referred to as the NFL-AFL Championship Game. Hunt is supposed to have come up with the name while watching one of his children play with a Super Ball. However, Steve Sabol has some video tape where one of videographers refers to the Packers-Chiefs NFL-AFL Championship Game as "Super Bowl I" as he's putting an identifier on the leader of a tape. That footage was shown in one of the first episodes of "NFL Hidden Treasures." Who knows the real truth? Thank you, Hank Stram, for what you brought to the game of football. You'll never be forgotten.
What I think is sad is that some guy from a Green Bay newspaper posted an article that said that Stram had never beaten the Packers. His record was 0-3-1 in the regular and post seasons and 0-5-1 if you count the pre-season. No history of his life. No record of his accomplishments. Basically, it was a short "our team is better than your team" filler piece. I thought it was in bad taste...
Well, he did at least "matriculate" the ball down the field for a lot of good years with the best team in the league. (Yeah, I know I left myself wide open on that one) Before one of you clowns post "I didn't know Hank ever coached (insert your team's name here), Let me assure you that I was speaking of the Kansas City Chiefs.
