Where is Quincy Carter these days? Anybody know his whereabouts? Maybe he is on a suspension from the league? How about Vinny? I haven't heard whether he has retired or not. Maybe he should though. Vinny is a class guy. He always talked to the reporters and stuff after a game, good or bad. Roy Williams wouldn't talk if he had a bad game but if he made a big hit he wouldn't shut up.
From what I know they are both still Free Agents and the Panthers have shown some real interest to have Vinny come back up Jake Delhomme. Quincy I heard was going to some type of therapy or something due him being Bipolar, I like both of these guys and I hope they do well in the future.
I haven't heard anything in a couple weeks, but at that time, word was that QC would be leaving his intreatment rehab after a 6 week stay. Also that Carter doesn't feel he's bi polar, that he's just been really stressed about his mother, who is still ill ........and his current status in the nfl or lack thereof. Antonio Bryant has been in contact with Carter and is doing his best to get him a job with the Browns. Bryant is quoted saying to Carter, "Me and you need to show how big of a mistake the Cowboys made''. I've also been told that Bryant is constantly in Romeo Crennel's ear about Carter. Carter has been in contact with the Browns and thinks he will meet with them at HQ before training camp." Vinny has been quiet but will most likely retire, which there is no rush to do. I imagine he will before the season starts, but will most likely wait to see if there are any early injuries that would boost his value.
I think the Browns would be doing themselves a big favor by picking up Quincy Carter. I feel like he was "jobbed" by the Cowboys.
It was major Bs that the Cowboys cut him, I think he would have had a very good season(better than Vinny's at least Td-Int Ratio wise), Parcells seemed to look for an excuse to cut him so he could go with one of his "boys".

Parcells is just in it to hang out with friends. We would have been much better off to have Zimmer coaching and let Carter throw the ball to Terrance Copper and hand the ball off to Eddie "2.5" George. In the wake of the low-round or undrafted QB steals such as Kurt Warner and Tom Brady, Jerry Jones made a poor choice and reached for Carter coming out of college. Carter has some talent and could make some game winning plays, but he lacked the consistency to build a team around. Yes, they went 10-6 with him mainly at the helm, but there was more to the record than that. Neither Carter nor Hutchinson will start for teams this year, barring injuries, so I dont think Dallas should be judged any differently. Unfortunately, his drug problems and bipolar disorder off the field didn't do anything to help either. Make him a backup quarterback for someone like the Falcons, though, and he would probably contribute as well as a backup could be expected to.
