    International Flava

Looking through the teams this year in the NBA 2005 FINALS there are many teams who have a bit of international flavour to them. The international game has really helped the San Antonio Spurs become the powerhouse team they are today. The unexplainable game of Manu Ginobilli has made the spurs unpredictable and amazing to watch. Tim Duncan has helped this team become defensive minded as well and Tony Parkers influence as point guard steers the ship. Phoniex has also used Steve Nash in a way that?s sent the worse then bad phoenix suns to the top of the NBA in one year. Some other noted teams are listed below.

San Antonio- Only starter that?s American is Bruce Bowen!
    Emanual ?Manu? Ginobilli-Argentina
    Tony Parker-France
    Radoslav ?Rasho? Nesterovic-Slovenia

It just shows no matter what your nationality, your alway welcome to the NBA. Its really intresting seeing and I was even suprised on how many foreign players made the postseason. I was just thinking about today actually how many american players do the Spurs have. It was almost the same story in Dallas a couple years ago with Nowitzki, Nash, LaFrenz. It`s nice to see all this great talent from across the globe playing together.

Plenty of reasons, tak ehte olympics for example. Some wer at weddings, some had previous engagements. Not to mention Tim Duncan said he's not returning to the US team after the past olympics. ALot of them also need some incentives now, which IMO is a bit sad. USA is loaded with players, but alot of them don't see any incentive for playing for hte international team among other things. Like Ray Allen said, it might be better if they were atleast paid.
