From turning the Nets into championship team a couple years ago and having that nice run to the NBA Finals in two consecutive years later than taking a step back with that Martin and Kittles trade but when people started counting the Nets out he brings in Vince Carter and the Nets are suddenly a in the second tier among the teams in the East. In my opinion they are just one good big man away from being a major threat in the East. Not to mention, he did a good job picking up Nenad Krstic which turned out to be a very nice prospect.
Stefanski definitly deserves this. Without him the Nets would not have had the scouting and drafting success that they had before. Hopefully he will continue to make the grand decisions that he has been making.

But Ed was really sought after so great move by the Nets to secure Rod Thorn and now Ed, it gives the fans alot of faith about the direction of the franchise when we know quality people are in the front office.
