Is it true, back-on-track></div> Yeah, except everything is bootleg. I personally don't have a problem with it, but you have to watch out for the ones that don't work. I once bought a whole stack of DVDs but only like a quarter of them actually worked. Damn faulty pirating. And back-on-track, once World of the Worlds comes out here in US, you should probably be able to find it on DVD over there, you just have to know where to look.
@ Trip: Not quite exact but roughly true. If you're lucky enough you can by it at 6$RMB ( less than a dollar) each. Of course, they're not legal copies. @ Aznxballer: I'm not quite sure if it's released the same time worldwide. Regularly, after being buyable in stores in US, it takes a month or so to be in theater in China.

The government has to censure stuff out I think before its released in China. I'm talking about Bootleg.
yea thats what i was about to say, ever since i got cable i had started download so many movies, longest yard, uinleashed, mr and ms smith, flying daggers and a whole bunch of other movies that havent come out yet but i am able ot aquire them. adam sandler movie was hilariou sunleashed i am about to watch tonight, mmr and mrs smith was really great, house of flying daggers is old but it made me cry. if you want to watch those movies on bootleg i would recommend you gusy getting bearshare i found alot of movies there on download.
But most of those movies downloaded thru p2p especially soon after the movies have been release do not have good visual quality, which would be quite disappointing. Like the last time I couldn't wait to watch the Resident Evil II: Apocalypse and bought a pirate version, which turned out to be a recorded-in-theater version and it was no where comparing to the DVD but had revealed the whole story. So, I'd rather wait for a while and enjoy the ones with the best quality. Bootlegs... I dunno. Most of the DVDs are copied illegally and I can't tell where the original content is from.
What do you guys think about Coach Carter? Its been such a long time since a good ball movie has come out.
havnet seen it yet, thanks for reminding me now i gotta download it lol. but some of the movies downloaded thorugh P2P have good quality as well, you just have to find out which is the correct file to download. usually the bigger files have better quality.
@ cheen0: that's partly right. But last time I downloaded a movie named Independence Day and the file is only 300MB while providing an excellent quality. I still can't believe that a movie of that quality can be compressed into such a small file thru DivX techniq.
Get DVDRips or Screeners instead of potcam versions. I've found through experience that those are the best quality. They come out later than potcams though.
well i just saw unleashed.... it was a great movie, good storyline and very touching throughout the whole movie.
I didn't like it. The only thing I actually learned from Unleashed is that there's no cops in Glasglow.
I like the fight and hustle scenes in unleashed. there's nothin attracting me except that. additionally, the poster of unleashed in which jet lee's head is stamped on and the dogbelt around his neck were regarded as an insult to Chinese.
I thought so too, but I'm sure it wasn't intentional. They had originally cast Steven Segal as Danny The Dog and went for Jet Li after Segal pulled out.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Btw, what does everyone think is Jet Li's best movie? I liked The One the best.</div> His best movie... I can name it but all they were before he entered hollywood
Lol. I thought The One's storyline was the best that Jet Li has ever been in. Yeah, it's pretty computer animated though. Hero's great was I was thinking more of the Hollywood movies. I like the stuff that Zhang Yimou (Hero and House Of Flying Daggers director) puts out.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">They had originally cast Steven Segal as Danny The Dog and went for Jet Li after Segal pulled out.</div> Wow! Good thing Jet Li got the part. Steven Segal in that movie would have been horrible!
