He really didn't have another choice because Iowa booted him out and he would've had to transfer which meant he'd had to set out one year, and he's already been suspended numerous time by Iowa So he hasn't really played too much the past few years. I really don't blame him for entering the draft, even though I don't see him getting drafted.
L-O-S-E-R I hope no team wastes a pick on this guy. You get get accused of raping a girl but beat the charges, and then you go back and choke your girlfriend and try to rape her a year after saying that you'll be a good boy just so you can play sports. Sounds like someone I'd like to meet. For five minutes alone in a sound proof room. I don't like to think that people who do the kind of things that Pierce has done get extra chances in this world. But they do. I just hope no team makes the mistake of picking this loser.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting j_a_d_e:</div><div class="quote_post">maybe he deserves another chance...</div> Well, this year was supposed to be his second chance, but he blew that. However, I'm still a huge fan of Pierre Pierce's play on the court (he's been one of my favorites since his big Freshman year at Iowa), and I think a team will pick him up somewhere in the second round. It's undeniable that he has first round (maybe even lottery) talent, but like Sean Banks, his reputation is absolutely tarnished by the off-the-court problems he's been having over the years. If he gets his life straight, he will definitely make a lot of people sorry for passing him over.
I agree with VC here somebody in the second round will pick him based off of his talent. He was leading the Hawkeyes to a pretty good season this year until he got kicked off the team for intent to commit sexual abuse. He has the possiblity of going undrafted because of it but if he didn't commit it he probably would have went first round. I am sure he would think twice about that if he was going to do it again.
