I will put money on a bet that there will be some Warrior fans posting by Monday morning about a trade scenario of the Warriors getting Brendan Haywood...

Why is that? I dont think WAS would let him go because he is cheap and they are already losing Kwame.

Do you think the Clippers would let Brand go? That is no reason for people to come up with stupid trade ideas like Dunleavy, 9th pick and whoever for him.

Haywood had a pretty good game tonight against the Heat. I mean he might be better than what we have, but its like Nene and whoever else has 1 good game, people start thinking they are better than what they averaged for the last 3-4 years...

Yes. Especially for Dunleavy, the Clips could get rid of their max contract in Elton Brand and get a replacement for Simmons who would also cost a ton of money to re-sign. Obviously this wouldn't work capwise but i'll assume there would be fillers. The Clippers hate having to spend and would sacrifice a good team if it meant conserving money. they wont just give Brand away but it wouldn't be extremely difficult to get him. Oh, and Dun is the coach's kid.

EDIT: I also wanted to say that i like the sig Warriorfan.

    Thanks, guys. [IMG]

Brendon Haywood is essentially Erick Dampier-East only with more heart, so who wouldn't want a decent big with a nice contact.

If we had an expiring contract worth an Elton Brand, it'd be possible, but we don't. If I was the clippers I'd probably be more interested in bringing Baron Davis to LA, if anything. I wouldn't want Dunleavy because I'd rather have Bobby Simmons more.
