Should Wade increase his range?

It would help his game overall but he doesn't need to worry himself about increasing his range. He is a dominating player the way he plays already. He is a great mid-range shooter. The mid-range game is a lost art and I'm glad to see a young player like Wade using it. His three-point shot will come around it due time.

Oh and Pimpdaddy33 how can Wade be overrated when he has been dominating during the playoffs with or without Shaq' in the lineup? And don't be hating on Wade and the Heat because they are in the conference finals while Kobe and "His" team are sitting on their butts at home. [IMG]

Cmon guys, he's a die hard Kobe and Laker fan. Do you really think he wants to see another SG take Kobe's place as "Shaq's best SG". A lot of Laker fans are very classy but there are some that just don't like Shaq/Wade/the Heat and will make their feelings known.

I do not like the heat period. Shaq has said so many horrible things about the Lakers. Actually I'm sorry about saying that about Wade, he is actually a very good player second team all-nba. But shaq is the one i should be bashing. I realize that but anyway the lakers will regain their throne. Let the truth be told miami bandwagon fans.

y dont u get mad at kobe after he accuses shaq of paying women 1,000,000$ not to say that he did it with them. I didn't hear shaq say anything about Kobe's rape trial did he?

Had it happened later....never know. But if he did, that'd have been crossing the line. You don't delve into off the court issues like that. It's his life, it was his choice, so why should others delve into his life?

Back on topic now, it wouldn't hurt Wade to extend his range to beyond the arc. However, at this point in his career, it is not an essential addition. He gets to the hoop at will and is unstoppable on the break. He makes it look a lot easier then it likely is. He's a strong and physical player, and his ability to the rim are credited to that. So, at this point, a three point shot probably isn't all that necessary.

Increasing Wade?s range would definitely help, but as Moo2K4 mentioned, it?s not at all a necessity because Wade already gets to the basket with ease. Adding that would make his opponents have to guard him close, but his deadly first step will come in handy there. If you thought Wade was unstoppable now, imagine with that element to his game! Perhaps this offseason he can improve on that.

Increasing his range can only help IMO. Look at him this year, his jumpshot is more pure, and now he has became one of the hardest players to guard in the NBA. He can create his shot anytime, whether he's going to the basket or taking a jumper. Once he get's his little step back jumper going, he's unstoppable. Adding another dimension to that jumpshot in a 3 point shot would make him even harder to guard. However, I hope he doesn't get addicted to it like T-Mac, VC, Kobe and others.

pimp. Take it from someone who is NOT a Heats fan. Dwane Wade IS an awesome player, and is still improving. In 2 seasons time, he will be at a higher level than Kobe, I'm sure of that.

Wade is slowly becoming one of my favourite players because of his smart mature play which still contains that spectacular, youthful atleticism. If you want to compate him to Kobe, you might think about Kobe coming out of High school, so he was younger, but look at him now. He's a great player but, after 7 seasons with the Lakers, and 3 championships, he still hasn't developed the maturity that Wade shows night in and night out.

Back on topic, increasing Wade's range could only help. Its been said a million times, but its true that the only way it could hurt is if he abuses any long range shooting skills that he develops.

Yeah back on topic and please Kobe lovers if you're NOT gonna say something that's related to topic, tell it to your moms.

I think Wade should increase. I don't want Wade to live at 3 point line but what if we're losing by 3 and need 3 desperatly with 5 seconds to go, we will need Wade to step it up and hit it. Right now, i won't go to Wade cuz he'd prolly miss it.
