The numbers are accurate. I took every starting QB and subtracted their rushing yards from the team total. With a caculotor as well. So you don't need to verify nothing. You just need to say whoopsy.

Eric Moulds saw double coverages that year and Price got to 1 on 1 all by himself all day long. He can't take the double coverages. Price is not a solid wideout he is a #2. Hey did you no Price only played 1 year with Vick as well. Do you honestly think 1 good year makes you a prove wideout in the NFL because I can answer that for you. It doesn't.</div> Did you ever even watch Price with the Bills? He made amazing catches, and he is a good reciever. Whether or not you ever watched Peerless Price play with a QB who can throw the ball in his general direction, I don't think you realize he is not just a #2 WR. He could be a #1, if he had gone anywhere besides Atlanta. Just because Eric Moulds was on the other side, doesn't mean that Price proved himself in every catch he got. You constantly make him out to be a bum when he is a good receiver that any QB with accuracy could find open quite often</div> Did you ever watch football? Price had ONE Good year which doesn't make him a proven wideout. Price has played ONE year with Vick. He has played more with Bledsoe yet only went over 1000 yards ONE Time in his career. Why does that make him a proven wideout. Now granted when we watched Price he looked like he showed potential. I watched him in college and he looked good but college is a whole lot different from the NFL. Price has only played one year with Mike Vick and they were learning a new offense. An offense that benefits TE's. You think Mike Vick can't get better. Did you think McNabb couldn't get better. Culpepper couldn't get better or any young QB that showed off a lot of potential. No I doubt you did, so why can't Vick get better. He had over an 80 rating and 16 TD and 8 INT his 1st year as a starter when he knew the playbook inside and out. Now he has a year with the WC he knows it inside and out. Don't be surprised if you see numbers that could even be better than those this year. You think he is doing nothing this offseason when his team with Mike Vick at QB was 1 game away from the SB. Sounds like it enough to get the entire Falcons organization excited about the up coming season with Mike Vick as their starting QB. Who has been working on his throwing in the off season. Will it get better. It's possible. It's also possible it doesn't but Mike Vick gives the Falcons their best chance to win and like it or not Mike Vick is the starting QB for the Atlanta Falcons.

Who cares if Vick can't throw the football? Falcons fans should. The more that Mora adjusts the offense to makeup for Vick's lack of throwing ability, the less effective an actual QB will be when he has to come in for Vick because Vick has just gotten injured while running around foolishly. I don't hate Michael Vick but it's time to move him to halfback because he can't throw the ball effectively. However, if Falcons fans are satisfied with 11 wins and making the playoffs, but never a championship because there will always be one team good enough to shut down Vick's running, then keep him at QB. The "so sayeth" is a nice touch, J-E-T-S! Hes a mediocre passer, but at 25 i dont think you can judge anyone and say he has no future at the QB position. That is completely false. He does have potential with the QB position. He has all the tools, and a great arm he just needs to think like a QB. Stay in the pocket, make good decisions, throwing with touch... all those things can be taught. His amazingly strong arm cant be taught. Plus if he can do those things the running can be another factor in how good he can be. He has the potential to become a incredibly complete QB. But he isnt right now. BUt there is no reason to say he cant. Also 11 wins a quite good coming from the franchise but with a better Vick at the helm they could easily get to the Superbowl, because then the defense will have to protect against a good strong passer and a guy who can run all over them.

You talk about Vick being on the rise and getting better, yet you and the rest of Atlanta forgets that Peerless Price was on the rise when he came to the Falcons, he was only in his 5th year. You talk about improvement, then look at Price's improvement. His first three years he improved each year, and then he exploded. He was on the rise, then he came to Atlanta. Atlanta's offense is the Michael Vick version of the WC, and yes it benefits the TE's. You just made my point I made on another Vick post that the system could be to blame for Price's lack of production, and you ignored that. Now you refer to it like you were saying it all along. If this version of the WC does not benefit the WR's, than a big time WR would not be worth the money for Atlanta. And if that is true, then Vick's lack of production cannot be blamed on Peerless Price. Once again, I never said Vick cannot get better. Stop putting words in my mouth. Now just answer me this next time, what is more productive from a QB, 900 yards rushing, or 2000 yards passing? Which of those 2 would help the team more?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BrianWestbrook)</div><div class='quotemain'>Now just answer me this next time, what is more productive from a QB, 900 yards rushing, or 2000 yards passing? Which of those 2 would help the team more?</div> That's a pointless question. You can throw for tons of yards and yet throw few TD passes, and you can run for tons of yards and get few rushing TD's. In the end the only thing that matters is the outcome of those passing and rushing yards, meaning how many points the team put up and if the team got the W in the end. Yards are yards, granted putting the ball through the air gets things done faster without a doubt but rushing yards mean something as well. Vick threw for 2000+ yards and 900+ rushing yards. The Falcons are a solid rushing team, thats why they were #1 and thats why they rush first and pass second. Vick contributed decent yards in both areas, so I don't see the problem or your point.
1. Pitt 2320 2. Jets 2262 3. Cheifs 2204 4. Chargers 2132 5. Broncos 2131 6. Pats 2106 7. Seahawks 2005 8. Ravens 1874 9. Packers 1872 10. Giants 1839 11. Bills 1837 12. Colts 1814 13. Texans 1809 14. Bengals 1792 15. Falcons 1770 These are numbers you posted. I came up with different numbers when subtracting the QB rushing yards from each team 1 Pittsburgh 2305 2. New York 2242 3. KC 2200 4 Denver 2131 5 NE 2107 6 SD 2066 7 Sea 1991 8 Bal 1874 9 GB 1850 10 Giants 1839 11 Buf 1825 12 Ind 1819 13 Cin 1750 14 Atl 1744 15 Dal 1724 So i dont know how you did numbers, but i end up with atl at 14th in total rushing yards. But who judges a team preformance by one stat, no one who is smart. So i did more I added up rushing TDs(minus QB scores) and compared the Falcons stand at #4 with 17 So they would be 14th in rushing yards and 4th in TDs, which, is IMO a top team, becuase ultimately , it is the abilty to consistently rush, with both Dunn and Duckett averaging 4+ ypc, both dunn and duckett producing points. I think I have proven my point. If you would like me to email the Excel file I put all the stats in just post email address and I will send it to you.
I get my stats from NFL.com and subtracted them on a caculator. Either way 14th or 15th isn't a top rushing team. You know what you meant when you wrote top team in rushing without Vick. Why wouldn't you write top team in TD's without Vick.hmmmmmmmm and either way why judge a team by 2 stats then. Lets go into fumbles, average, attempts, first downs, yards a game. How did you prove your point. What makes no sense is this 2002 with Vick 9-6-1 1-1 in playoffs 2003 without vick 3-11 with vick 2-0 2004 with Vick 11-5 thats my point.

He is running to much, which hurts passing game, and destroy recievers motivations(destroying 1st rd talented receivers, and all pros like price) and he isnt throwing for enough yards, which means the passing game isnt putting points on the board.
