SPURS/GINOBILI FANS! HEAR ME AND UNITE!!! Is it just me, or are there WAY too many cry babies blabbing about how all Ginobili does is flop and play sloppy ball? He is probably one of the hardest working and most talented players in the league, but his game is under attack right now. What really gets me is that people have the nerve (or the stupidity) to say he's a "notorious flopper". Malone was a notorious elbower, but it took him a least five years to earn that title and Ginobili has only been around for three. Am I saying he never flops or plays sloppy? No, but then again who doesn't flop or have a bad game here and there. And then there's the fact that for every flop he pulls off he gets hammered or elbowed hard at least three times. All the announcers/comentators seem to conveniently ignore that fact about his game, especially the fools on ESPN. He knows there's a price for creating fouls from time to time (he was dealt flagrant fouls during both the Denver and Sonics series among other things), but he pays it gladly. I say it's time for us Spurs fans to support our guys, especially those who get criticized for playing with a lot of toughness and heart.

im not saying that ginobilis lazy on defense, which he isnt, but theres no doubt hes a huge flopper. Every time sum1s on a fast break or trys to blow by him he tries to get contact n flop. I hate people who play defense like him. But ginobili doesnt really matter, its the timmy d show in san an

If Ginobili was 3 inches shorter, people would be commenting on how corageous he is, and how he has the heart of a lion. But because he's not, everyone calls him a flopper so they can feel better abou themselves after he dominates their team.

I love Ginobili on offense and he is a real nice guy if you meet him but I don't like his flopping game either. I mean it is smart and it is a good strategy but it slows the game down and is kinda cheap if you think about it.

Like I said, for every "flop" he gets he takes shots that are way cheaper than the his "flopping game". As far as slowing the game down, what do you call Karl's and Allen's whining? If you want to talk about a game that was cheap, slowed to a crawl and horrible to watch look at Game 4 of the Denver series. Ginobili was pretty much taken out of that game so you can't pin the blame on him.

Its no doubt he takes a lot of hits. It looks like every1 is just out there to injure the guy. He also has the balls to go right at the hoop again after taking a flagrent foul the previous time down the court

He's no worse than Reggie as far as flopping. Hey, if the referees are giving him the calls and that help his team win, why don't do it often. People should be calling out the refs for falling for them, not Manu.

Why do people care about Gino flopping? They care because all the players that have complained during the playoffs, "WENT FISHING". I don,t know why they complain about Gino, cause in the end Spurs are going to win. [IMG]

I could care less If the guy flops honestly and he does but he is so fun to watch and a nightmare to defend. So in all let players and other fans cry about Manu's flops. It's just another way of taking attention from what their team is doing wrong.

its not even a flop like they said its just good D Manu gets pushed and slammed into the floor buts not no Divac flop, he gets the attention of the ref's and gets respect from his oppenents.
I love the way Ginobili plays and i think he deserves more credit than any Spur out there

No one in the league gets clubbed the way Manu does now. Players seem to take offense to the way Manu can embarass them, and they revert to thug like actions to stop him from getting to the basket.
