Why Them?
Ray Allen is the leading scorer on the Sonics and they need to him to score for them to win tonight. Bruce Bowen's job is to shut down Allen. With these two going at it on offense and defense, it should be interesting to watch. Ray Allen made the matchup evem more heated after making quotes such as, "If the NBA were professional wrestling, Bruce Bowen might be its most highly paid performer. In pro wrestling, the premium pay often goes to the villains." He has also mentioned in the past that Bowen plays "sissy basketball". This should be a very good mathcup and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Spurs advance with a 98 - 96 win. No team had a double digit lead in game 6. Tim Duncan, who wasn't having his best game, hit the game winner with less than a second left. Spurs are looking good heading into the WCF.

Yeah that was a great game by the Spurs and a lot of credit has to be given to Duncan even though he couldn't hit a single shot for awhile there. He still got points from the line and played decent. Then in the 4th quarter he lit up scoring 12 of his 26 points and hitting the game winner which ended the Sonics season. Another guy who was a key factor in the Spurs win was Robert Horry. He scored 14 points off the bench and grabbed 5 rebounds. The Spurs had a nice win and the Sonics deserve some credit to because they never let down and it was a good game all the way until the end.

The spurs got lucky in the end...it was the sonics game, but they blew it.
