I don't know if it's been posted anywhere .. so I'll put it here.

Has to be my favorite player all time after Hakeem and Ryan Bowen.

He opened the game up for so many guys, let all us skinny dudes that had weird looking shots play. [IMG] . Just an amazing person to meet, if any of you ever get the chance, he is humble, and isn't afraid to carry a conversation. Man, it's gonna be weird not seeing him stretching on the sidelines, running off curls, seeing replays of him just shooting over people. I remember as a kid trying to mirror my game like his, the coming off picks, the leaning to one side.

Just wanted to say, thanks Reggie .. I'm gonna miss you. [IMG]

EDIT, saw it in the Playoff section .. Lock it up.

Why lock this? I mean he is one of the best Pacer players ever and the fans can talk about him leaving here. I think this is a good thread even if there is already one in the Playoffs section.

I'm a Houston Rockets fan, but I have always been a big fan of Reggie Miller........dude is truely a class act and everyone respects him (myself included)............it was joy watching him for 18 years and I hate to see him go, but I wish him good luck in other ventures in life.

From Reggie to JO with love: Article

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> INDIANAPOLIS ? It was supposed to end like this, wasn't it? The ball in his hands, the game still undecided? The only thing he needed was for his last shot to drop.

The Pacers weren't even supposed to be here. Game 6 in the Eastern semis? Reggie Miller's career was supposed to be over the day that "thank you" Bentley rolled out on the court a month ago. Then it was supposed to be over in Boston 10 days ago.

Somehow, his shot just kept dropping.

He would no longer come to Conseco early.

He would no longer yell at David Benner before games.

He would no longer look down at his feet before he let the ball go, to make sure they were behind the line that defined his career.

He would no longer have to save a team.</div>Source

This is a good article from Scoop Jackson.

Great article above, and great player- Reggie Miller. I'm definitely going to miss his clutch plays and awesome shooting. Back in the day, the man could practically shoot over anybody- just incredible. It really means something when even the opposing team applauds someone during his last minutes in a game. Anyways, thanks Reggie for doing everything that you have done and given to the league.

Reggie Miller has had an excellent career for the Pacers. He has been a huge part of the Pacers over the years, and done many things for them that he will be remembered for. Even this season he had a big role on the Pacers, as a starter. He could still play during his final season, and ranked 1st in the NBA in FT%.

Reggie is the three point king of all time. sure theres been other sharp shooters but hes just plain awesome at threes and with free throws. But for one who loves basketball as much as him, u wouldnt think he would retire.this seaseon was one of his best in a while. IF he played till he was horrible, well then he might be very high on the all timk e scorers list.

im from indiana and have lived here all my life....being a hoosier your born to play basketball....so i grew up watching reggie. it was great to be a lil kid watching number 31 hitting threes. it was sumthing that youd see him do in a game, and then go outside to your court and try doing over and over..

It Will Always Be Miller Time

Reggie was the greatest..I cried that last game, he's my fav player of all-time after..Chris Webber (yes, yes I know..). Oh please Reggie one more season. I really thought the Pacers would win it before the season started, but then Artest (who I love) lost his temper. Somehow the Pacers played hard despite all the injuries too. Remarkable season from the Pacers. Reggie had a good postseason too. Reggie, one more year, one more..

    Miller Time can't be over..

ive never been a huge pacers fan, but ive always respected reggie for what hes done on and off the court. He is a proffesional and will never be forgotten for what he would consistently do when the game was on the line.
