I hadn't heard of them getting Jones?
Well atleast they have someone who can rebound now.
I love the pick of Brewer for them. They needed to upgrade the 3 spot and they did just that. Brewer is a beast.
I wasn't shocked by the pick, but a bit confused. Hawes would have been a better fit for what the Bulls need. But Paxson is no fool.

I grabbed a quote from Ray Allen of the C's press release:"I could not be more excited about coming to Boston to play for the Celtics." said Allen....
They do not need another 2/3 player. They took the best guard available.
Reminds me of a slightly better shooting Delonte West. Same build. Same style of play.

Durrant could have a Lebron-esque rookie season, numbers wise.
Perhaps May has been working his ass off? Idk this is just a weird trade. I guess it will allow Morrison to got to the 3 which is probably a better...
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? The C's got decent players for 2nd rounders, so sure I guess.
Atleast he used Wally and not Theo's contract. Ray Allen is the best shooter in the NBA. A proven 25ppg scorer, he is better than JRich, and...
If they were some how able to dump Miles I would have been blown away. Allen should work out buyouts for Miles and Francis.
The Celtics got a proven 25ppg scorer and kept Pierce, Green, Rondo, and Big Al. You can say you don't like it, but it's not a bad deal.
At an ice cream place. Pretty easy, fun job.
You can say you don't like the trade, but getting a proven 25ppg all-star and keeping your core players isn't a bad deal, even if you don't like it.
Decent pick at #35. High energy, hard worker, mature player. I hope he does well!
Not to mention that McRoberts and Byars were both in the second round, geese.
Didn't the C's work out Pruitt. I trust Ainge in the draft.
